Day 1 AGAIN!!! - HELP

So annoyed with myself...

2nd weigh in tomorrow and I have been pretty much been off plan all week. I am determined to get through TS today just so hopefully the scales dont have too much damage from last weeks 6lb weight loss. Then my my mum asks me to lunch tomorrow (after a converation a week or so ago how I am never included) how can I now say no?! So I then think start thursday after lunch with my nan mum and sister but thats just silly.. is it?!

I am feeling pretty unhappy in life at the minute too but its important I lose this weight before my holiday!!

How the hell do you guys do so many days TS?!?

Aw don't beat yourself up , it's bloody hard to start and the first 3 /4 days are the worst. I think that you need to set aside a few days to start and not plan anything. Go to your lunches then start after that. You have to be focused and life does get in the way . I am at that stage where I can go out for meals and not eat , I just take my shakes . It's only been two week today but I did it and I am a restarter. Today I have lost 1st 1lb in 14 days . If you want it you will do it . It's just picking your time . Everybody on here has no doubt experience the same . I know I did restarting . Hugs and love M xxxx

Thankyou so much for your reply. I defo agree with getting social events out the way, just so happens people invite me to things randomly and balls up my plans lol...

I have a concert on the 14th july but that is all between now and holiday to magaluf. I will also struggle on saturday. Month end at work... 9-8 and we have loads of food in the office thats a tough one too :/

You do it, I think i do this all the time, sabotage myself by saying, can't do it today got something on etc etc! But today is day 1 for me again and I am gonna do it this time!! Keep up the good work you can do it xx
 
Oh isn't it hard when you have to go and fit in with other peoples lives !!! I know in the past I have gone for lunch and tried to do the 'protein' only bit - saying that I feel a little under the weather first off. I was good but couldn't help feeling I was robbing myself of all the hard work I'd put in getting through those early days.

This is a new beginning for me and I'm so determined not to let worrying about others feelings sabotage my efforts. Lovely quote on here about "Never trade what you want most, for what you want at the moment!"

Good luck- it his hard to stay focused when you have nights out and that is what I really struggle with, too! I also like to use a blender for my shakes so making things out and about is even harder. Keep us posted on how you get on! xx
 
Brie, I use a stick blender that will fit in a bag. If you're not near a socket a battery operated milk frother.blender works well. X
 
Good luck! I start TS tomorrow, and I'm praying I have the willpower to stick to it. Just reading about how much weight people have lost on it is really motivating though. Well done to everyone xxx

Well I failed today, head was just not in it.... so im with you tomorrow 100 % :)

Thanks- I use a stick blender too but don't like drawing attention in public places- I would rather wait it out. The battery operated idea is a good one, though! Thanks!
 
Hi I'm starting again today ! And I know once we get through the first couple of days we've cracked it !!!!we can do it believe in yourself :)
 
Hi just an idea I have bought a shaker with a metal wisk type ball in it so you can blend on the go. I got mine for argos for £2 quid, it saves all the faffing!!!
 
I had a lot of false starts recently and then I saw a quote that changed the way I was thinking. I hope it helps...
