Day 1 of S&S, no hunger? :O

My first day on S&S, I've had two of the meals (Spagbol and Veg soup) a shake, (chocolate yum!) and I've just finished a dark chocolate truffa bar. I was expecting to feel hungry, but I haven't! This is a fraction of what I'd normally eat, yet I feel fully satisfied.

I'm not complaining! It's great, just a little odd. I was restricting myself beforehand to prepare though. So I guess this could be why. Knowing me, I'll get hunger pangs during the night. But I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this. :D

Im starting s&s today. Ive got about 5 stone to lose too - yikes!! Ive taken all my measurements this a.m so here goes. I plan to do 4 packs a day. I dont feel in the slightest bit hungry yet depite having had nothing to eat yet. Perhaps I should have a shake soon so I dont get too hungry. What do you think?

I put my first 'meal' off for as long as possible as I worry that I'll be hungry come the evening. We are all different though. Best of luck for your journey x

I just have mine at set intervals breakfast starts at 7.30 and lunch at around 12. Then when ever everyone else has their evening meal I have mine followed by my last one when I've sat down to chill.

Once your in ketosis you won't feel hungry and gets easier.

I have my first meal forced down first thing (but after massive gulp of water) last meal late as poss! You might feel more hungry tomorrow, I felt it more on day 2 but by day 3 I was in ketosis!

Do u not like the packs? I've had a banana shake with water at 10.30am then mild curry at 1.15pm. Off to Starbucks for a black coffee with a friend then not home til 4pm from school run.

oh no I like them, but first thing in the morning.. I dont like anything!
but after hearing endless talk of how important breakfast is I force myself to make time for it

Good luck on your weight loss journey hunca! You should well have lost 5st6lbs by next xmas :).Woke up feeling drained this morning, had a Choc shake and got off too college. Had the macoroni cheese when I got back, I have to say I'm not too keen on that. So far the veg soup is my favourite pack. How's the mild curry hunca? I'm thinking of having that later. Saving my bar for when I go to bed, as I got hungry whilst I was trying to sleep :/. And there was me thinking I'd escape the hunger pangs ;)

Haha I didn't have any hunger until the evening on lipotrim then I suddenly starting being sick on it LOL marvellous. This is way easier and I'm only getting teeny hunger pangs atm, definitely manageable! It's my first full day today so fingers crossed it'll be okay tomorrow too :) good luck! x

The mild curry was quite nice. That was the 1st meal pack I've had & after I'd got over the initial shock at how small the portion was it was fine lol
But then again large portions or no portion control are what got me to 18st 6lbs in the first place !!!!! It's now 7pm & I can't believe how I don't feel hungry in the slightest!! It's amazing. Long may this continue

ive doubled up mine a few times, some evenings when Ive left my teatime meal quite late. Its quite satisfying to have a bigger bowlful. you could also spread the veg allowance out over each mealpack to bulk them up :]

I suppose its just trial & error to c what suits each person best. I saved a bar for tonite, it was ok but not really worth the wait. I'm in bed now watching TV but already I've been up twice to the loo !!! Hope I get some sleep!

Never thought about doubling up, might give that a try! I bet it feels like having a proper meal (well almost lol). Yeah hunca, the bars don't fill you up do they? :p Pretty tasty though, had the chocolate, vanilla & almond one just, tasty. Am I the only one who does not bother with the Veg allowance? I'm just on the 4 packs a day, might get the 5 pack option next time (I'm male), but wanted to just see how I get on with 4 packs. If I get desperate, I'll have Veg too, or tin of Tuna.

I'm on 4pks a day (woman) & I don't really like milk but will that make much difference not having my milk allowance or do I need to for my calcium level to be right? I ate 200g iceberg lettuce last nite just because the plan states 200g certain veg but wld that matter either? Does anyone take a multi vit or are all the nutrients within the packs?
