Day 2.. Feeling good :)

So it's day 2 for me, woken up feeling a lot less podgy which is nice! Just had a sneaky weigh & I'm 11st 12lbs, which is 7lbs lighter than I was at my weigh in Thursday evening :O I know the body fluctuates day to day though, so only going to make note of my actual weigh in weights every Thursday :) but seeing the number on the scales a lot smaller this morning has motivated me to stick with it!

Just having a green tea now, seen as I hate water and we have to drink so much I think I'll have a few green teas over the course of the day to take up a big portion of the water target! First shake will be around 9am :)

Hope everyone's feeling happy & positive! Sun is also shining! :D x

Morning :) well done getting to day two.
Every day in the first week is a milestone.
7lbs in two days?! You must carry alot of water your body is getting rid of! You going to the loo all the time? Seeing the scales go down is Good incentive isn't it xxx

Thank you :) I'm proud of myself for getting through the first day, cause I guess I doubted myself to an extent and wasn't sure I'd be able to do it... I think I was carrying a lot of water, considering all I've lived off for the past few months has been sugary junk food & pop, it wouldn't surprise me! But still as you said, it's nice & incentive to carry on when the scales drop early on :)

How long have you been on CD for? xx

Been on it for almost four weeks. But had a few blips, not Good as all it does is make you feel bloated and crap.
Some of the girls on here are doing amazing with this diet, I need to kick myself into shape, cos my losses are not as good as they could have been xxx
God I sound depressing! Eeek!

Hello :D I'm finding it okay so far, wasn't at all hungry yesterday which surprised me.. But felt bored hungry if that makes sense? Like drinking a shake & bottles of water isn't anywhere near as fun as slobbing about eating my body weight in junk food! Lol..

I'm just having the shakes too, I didn't bother getting any soup or porridge cause I knew I wouldn't end up liking them! Just made my first shake of the day & blended with ice cubes, so now I've got a lovely cappuccino slushie :D how are you finding it? xx

It's so hard on weekends isn't it! I work Monday to Friday, but on weekends I always like chilling out with the OH and my baby and stuffing my chops!.. It's strange to me to laze infront of the tv and not be eating, I relate a lot of comfort food to being bored I think... It's just not quite the same sipping on water instead! But I'll have to try and make it.. They are so good as slushies! :) much more filling too. Are you on SS or SS+? I'm on SS+ so having my 170g of chicken breast today which I'm looking forward too! Food I can CHEW! Lol :) well done you on not raiding the fridge while your OH was out! :) xx

I don't like water either, usually I drink flavoured water or pop which I can't have either of, so I'm having to force myself to drink normal bottled water which is just yuck! :( trying to sip some every now and then & hoping I'll reach the target of 2.25litres without trying so hard then lol.. I'm doing SS+ cause apparently the difference in weight loss from SS to SS+ is barely anything, and I'd rather know I can have either the 200ml of milk or a 200kcal meal :) keeps me sane! Lol. I think if you choose to have an SS+ day then maybe you should do SS+ the whole week, otherwise you're going from the minimum of 415kcals one day up to 640kcals the next on an SS+ day and that might interfere with weight loss? I'm not sure though but that's just my opinion... It's weird, when I read through the steps book and see you're allowed 1500kcals a day on step 5, it seems like loads of food! & almost seems naughty in comparison to the low amount of kcals in step 1 lol xx

You should really ask your CDC for the book cause it's a huge help! Goes into detail about each step & it's necessary really cause if you're on SS+ it tells you what foods are allowed for the 200kcal meal cause it's only certain things.. I'll let you know how my weigh in goes definitely :) I chose SS+ also cause I work full time, have a little 10month old to run around after and go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week so my CDC said that I may flake out on SS... I can't wait to be on step 5 and eating 1500 calories a day! Lol, reading through the book last night one of the breakfast ideas for step 4 or 5 was a poached egg and beans on top of a crumpet & I was like :O ooooh yum! Lol :) xx

She should've given you the book anyway, I'd say it's vital on this diet cause it provides so much information! The SS+ is good :) on busier days you could have the 200kcal meal and on less busy days you could use the milk allowance instead for some milky teas or coffees :D I know, all I can think about now is bloody crumpets with beans & eggs on top! :( haha xx

I'm so hungry today, and doing nothing but chill & laze about on a Saturday is making me crave junk food so much! :( my OH is even tempting me to have what i want to eat today & get back on CD diet tomorrow.. But I know that eating what I like today won't help, cause I'll still end up wanting it tomorrow or the next day! :( eeeeek! xx

Hahaha! That made me chuckle.. I'm so tempted to cave I must admit, all I can think about is lots of milky buttons & lasagne god damn it! :( and a part of me is hoping if I get back to CD tomorrow then it won't make much difference & I'll still loose quite a decent amount of weight.. But then the other part of me will be wondering how much I could have lost if I hadn't of caved!!! :(

Oh bloody hell, it's like a constant battle with myself! Lol
