Step 1 Sole Source Day one!!!!!

Hey everyone... New to this... Day one for me on sole source. Feeling bit headachey already but determined to stick at it! Got 6 stone standing in between me and giving my little boy the healthy happy and active mummy he deserves!

Feel free to pass on any tips hehe x I know the first 4 days are the hardest (did it many years ago) so just got to focus on getting through them and I know ill be on my way! x
 
Good luck! Just stay focused and remember why you're doing it! It can be very hard at times, but if you can get through those difficult moments you feel AMAZING! I'm going onto my 10th week now, if I can do it, you can too!
 
Aww thanks Alison! Wow you have done fantastic! How much have you lost if you don't mind me asking? I am hoping come August/September ill be where I want to be x
 
I've lost 2 stones 6lbs! Only lost 1.2lbs this week which was such a disappointment! However I won't let that get to me! Want to lose about another stone-stone and a half! x
 
Wow that's fantastic!! Well done!! It's day two for me now and apart from a splitting headache I am doing well :)

Keep going everyone! Summer is coming x

How you getting on? I'm on day two and going strong but the challenging part are cravings not hunger for me and the killer headaches :(
 
Hi PP! I'd say a huge pat on the back to u for getting to day two! I am quite hungry today and have a stinker of a headache but I am just drinking as much water as I can and have taken two paracetamol for my head so hopefully it'll pass. I am a childminder and at an outdoor forest school at the moment so it's quite hard to drink much while I am here but soon as I get home ill be drinking the water again as my counsellor told me to keep sipping and it should help the headaches.

Must admit I am starting already to notice my feelings and emotions now I can't use food to deal with them. Try and keep busy? Find something to focus on to keep the cravings at bay? That's what I've been doing. I think the first few days we experience physical hunger and then once we are in ketosis it's more of an emotional hunger (so I've read anyway!).

Keep at it... You're half way up that wall now and only another two days and you should be at the top (in ketosis)! The way I see it is, if I eat something that's not on the plan it will spoil my hard work and knock me down to the bottom of that wall again hehe.

Keep your goal in mind and don't take your eyes off it :)

I imagine these first few days are the hardest so if we can power through it then we'll be fine come the weekend :)
