Hi everyone :wavey:

I can't believe it's been so long since I was on here last. I completely fell off the rails and have piled on a lot of weight. So I'm going to try and get back on things over the next couple of days and do my first official weigh in since turkey on friday. I just haven't been able to even face the thought of getting on the scales as I know I've only got myself to blame.

What annoys me is this is a fairly repetitive pattern and I can't find a way to break it. I get into bad habits, put on weight and then get too embarassed to come on here :(

So tomorrow is going to be a stab at extra easy to try and wean myself back on plan, I think I've got stuff in that I can use for brekkie before we go down to mum's for the day.

Can I ask everyone something? If I ever disappear again, can someone send me a pm please and tell me to get my backside back on the forum? I've got a wedding dress to fit in and I can't keep letting myself down like this. I'm not asking for anyone to take the responsibility for making me stay on plan because only I can do that, but a kick up the backside I would really appreciate :giggle:
 
Hiya Em, happy to see you back! remember we all struggle frm time to time with our food, if we didn't we wouldn't be human. How about putting a picture of your dress on your fridge? That way you'll see it every time you go to reach for something bad... The little things usually help. You have done amazingly well and once you get right into it you excel! please do come on here if you're struggling, there are plenty of us on here happy to help :D xxx
 
I want to keep the dress a secret from Chris, though mine will look totally different as I'm having the straps taken off and a huge chunk of the train taken off (but I might print a copy of this for my wallet). This is the day I tried it on

I've also been promised a puppy for christmas from mum (she needs to save for the one that I want otherwise I could have it sooner - golden retriever), so that will help keep me motivated with exercise as I will be making sure he gets at least an hour of walking each day :D

Wow I love that dress. How gorgeous is that and what a princess you'll feel like.

Like others have said we all fall up at times. I have recently but the important thing is to come back and back on the weight loss train. You know you can do it. How about looking at your first weeks meals and try replicate those.

Keep writing on here because that will help stay motivated and at least accountable. You can do this!!

I've got some grapes in and muller lights so they'll do for a make shift brekkie for today. I've got the extra easy xmas book and spotted a new way to cook spuds - to slice them along the whole of the potato but not go straight through the skin on the other side, frylight it and add seasoning you want, so I'll probably try that tonight with some ham, mushrooms and tomatos :) It's just lunch I'll need to work out for today (might just do a fruit salad), but I want to try and make a homemade savoury rice at some point with lots of onion, pepper and mushroom, then I can just throw in some ham or cooked chicken :D

Also with pasta and rice on ee, does it matter if it's white or wholewheat? I've got some brown pasta and rice in the cupboard and seem to prefer it to the normal stuff, but don't want to use my hexb on it. I'm probably making no sense :giggle:
 
Hi Em, so glad that you are back. We missed you. As others have said we do our best to help you and give you a kick from time to time. Can I suggest that yu take pictures of your food and post on here and write everything down in your diary. It really helps. You can always refer back to them when your are short of ideas for meals and also you can review to see where you need improvements or wherer you have done well. I find that it keeps me motivated.

Love the dress. You've made a great choice. Please remind me of the date. May I suggest that you do yourself mini goals. This keeps you motivated when you see your achievements.

Rosie, I'll be setting some goals on friday when I wi (I haven't been near the scales since we went to turkey as I've been far too scared to get on them) as it's time to face the music :)
 
Let me know how those potatoes turn out. I saw a recipe for potatoes like that a little while ago and have been meaning to try then since.
