Deflating the Bouncy Castle

I too never felt I was too overweight, I too kept seeing a curvy woman in the mirror with husband saying the same , but now I struggle getting into my uniform , I've had to get a bigger size and have had some one ask if i was expecting :( (I had a baby 18 months ago)

I will take ( by this mean get OH to take) some pics later today and post them .
weigh in is tues and can't wait :)

Good luck Kirsty xx

I love Nigella's shape, but I guess a lot has to do with the fact that she is just beautiful on the face. These women seem tall too, which helps I guess, I think more chunky small women don't look as nice. And of course I agree with the fact that once you have a waist, you look much slimmer that someone the same weight but with a thick waist. I really disliked my huge stomach at 209 pounds. I have a tendency to like very slim women, but I know I wouldn't look good and wouldn't have slim legs even at 121 and I'm fine with it. So choose your path, choose your silhouette and be happy with it ;)

I think she would still look beautiful up to a size 20 she's just got a great face your right x

THanks rolly82 and well done on your weight loss also . keep up the good work . :)

You - YOU..YOOOOU there, that lady with the hour glass figure just popping out from nowhere, tell me now, where did you get that from? I am SUPER and I mean SUPER envious right now if your proportions. Scandalous!

This is some seriously motivational stuff, you are enough to make me hang my head in shame at my faffing. You have lost more than I needed to loose in total and in half the time, but then, I suppose that is one seriously big locus of control you have there, the draw of your chance at IVF...

Do you know, I had PCOS when I started cambridge the first time, I was also informed by two specialists that I shouldnt plan on having any more children without the aid of metformin and clomid and even then it was doubtful, I had a cyst which was the size of a walnut which they wanted to remove.... that led me to research the effects of low carb diets on PCOS fast forward to 12 weeks on Cambridge and maintaining for a few months more - living ma vida low-carb - and guess what...I got knocked up by pure chance! The cyst had also disapeared.

I am not saying that could happen to you, but miracles do occur with this diet - I am sure I am not the only one...so hopefully any IVF you do have will be a roaring success.

I am still gobsmacked here!

"living la vida low-carb" Love. It!

Yeah - sadly i have one entirely kaput fallopian tube, and queried damage on the other one. natural conception isn't impossible, but it's highly unlikely. never say never, i guess.

I somehow, had a vision, a bit like in the directors of some weird german frauline Doctor informing you "das is kaput" whilst pointing to the scan picture with one of those extendable pointer type things, weird.

A couple of ladies I know just got inseminated (one of them did with an egg harvested from the other one and some donor sperm) it was all private and it cost a hell of a bucket full of dabloons, but to them it was worth it, they couldnt even get NHS IVF because they were a same sex couple...

They tried for ages, and it never suceeded, but this last go is a winner, all going well and she is months along now - so where there is a will there is a way ;)

Spangles you always make me smile and give me that bit of motivation I need. You look blimmin fantastic! Well done. I hope the next chapter works just as successfully xx

Spangles - I've just looked at your photos - AMAZING!!!!!

You have changed so much and I agree on the comments about your face and waist, they have really changed!

I must put some pics of me on here, I was looking at some taken in August when I was camping - OMG how awful did I look. And today ...... I've gone down a bra size and my old one is hanging off! Hurrah feel like I'm getting somewhere now!

Bye for now, xx

thanks girls -

now you know you have to keep up your own diary and photos, to inspire others! that's how it works...

Spangles! Just seen your pics and you look amazing!! What a star and inspiration you are! Honestly, if I even feel like wavering this time around I'm going to take a look at you pics! You've documented the pics so well too. Thank you sooooo much for sharing your journey so far.

When you reach your goal weight what dress size will you be? I know from the CD Buddies threat sizes differ rather a lot but always find it interesting how they differ on those of us 5ft3 and under. A

at 11st 4lb, i'll be a largish size 14, i think. i was a small 16 when I was 12 stone, although that was 10 years ago, in my late twenties - and our bodies do change with age... but i'm banking on somewhere in the 14-16 range, which is very much as thin as I would ever want to be.

if i weren't doin this to get to a certain bmi, i'd be stopping at 12stone, from a purely aesthetic perspective.

Cried my eyes out at it last night, so lush! My middle one just went "oh for gods sake Mum I'll go and get you a tissue". Then they all sat and laughed at me! x

I've just watched it from your link Spangles - Isn't it sweet, so lovely.

I just wonder what he'd bought them! Perhaps that will be the next episode, like coffee and BT adverts LOL
