Ive just done my cals so far today and ive still got 1015 cals lol! No way am I going to use all them today

That's fab! In a way, I'm pleased I ate so much yesterday. As it means I'm still full up today - which is always a bonus on a fast day!! All I've had so far is two energy drinks, so I'm saving my calories for tea and a Quest bar for supper. Yum x

It's a protein bar and they are to die for!! High in protein, low in carbs. They're really filling too. And generally between 160-220cals. They're expensive as they're shipped over from America, but I treat myself to a few a month. They're my guilty pleasure at the moment xx

Morning diary, happy Monday! Can't actually believe it's Monday again already, this weekend has flown over. And I had an extra day (Friday) off too!! But hey ho, it'll soon come round again.

As you know, it's weigh day for me today. And I saw a 1lb loss on the scales this morning! Taking me down to 11st 11lb. Happy with that as it's star week, and I'm feeling incredibly bloated and also a little constipated (sorry if TMI :eek:). That now makes it 1st 5lb gone after 6 WI's, and leaves me 4lb and 4 weeks to go to try and hit my mini Christmas goal of 11st 7lb. Also just 2lb to go until I've lost 1st 7lb with 5:2, so that's plenty to keep me motivated!

As it's weigh day, today is going to be a yummy feast day. I've been craving sausage and mash lately, so that's what I'll be having for tea tonight. Can't wait! The only thing I'm not sure of so far is what I will be having for lunch, but it'll be some sort of sandwich or salad - will see what takes my fancy!

- Chocolate & Peanut Butter Protein Cookie

Lunch:
- Tesco Healthy Living Chicken Salad Sandwich

- Malteasers
- Bottle of Dr Pepper Zero

Dinner:
- Quorn Low Fat Sausages with Mashed Potato, Vegetables and a Mushroom and Red Onion Gravy

Other:
- Can of Relentless Origin Sugar Free Energy Drink

Ooh, best that you don't read lol!! On Thursday I went into town at lunch with my friend from work. She's doing SW at the moment but was having a week "off". She didn't know what she fancied for lunch and so she said to me "if you were having a week off and you could have ANYTHING, what would you have?" ... that was hard going on a fast day lol!! Good luck and have a great day xx

That's just pure evil! You do not taunt someone like that on a fast day :p Well done on another loss this week, you reallya re doing so well on the 5:2.

I bought some low fat sausage from morrisons yesterday, I'm sure they're called lizzies. 78 calories each, cannot wait to try them this week.

Stodgy food is great this time of year when it is so cold!!

Ahh thank you! Super happy, especially as it's star week! I have the implant so I don't get regular periods, maybe 5 or so a year? But when they do come they can be pretty nasty! So I'm more than happy with a 1lb loss.

Ooh, yummy!! I definitely think it's the colder weather (plus star week!) which is making me crave stodgy comfort food. I'm so looking forward to sausage and mash. I'd been using the WW premium pork sausages lately, at 60cals each. But I only have one of those left in the freezer! I've got a box of the Low Fat Quorn ones though, which are also pretty good at 64cals each. And I love them! I'm so into Quorn these days x

That's what I'm amazed with Michelle, it's been so consistent! I was always up and down with SW - one good week and then one bad. I do believe it's the freedom of 5:2 which is keeping me on track. I don't need to go off the rails because I know I can have whatever I want (in moderation) anyway! Very happy :) x
 
Good morning diary, happy Tuesday. And happy 1 month until Christmas!! Can you believe it - this time in a month it will be Christmas morning!? Oh I'm starting to get excited now, I love Christmas time. It's also a bit of a kick up the backside as I still have a few presents left to buy!

Got some yummy food planned today - even having a McDonald's "treat". Within my allowance of course! Can't wait :)

It is very true!! Plus I have a massive chilli in the slow cooker which I'm looking forward to munching on later tonight

LOVE chilli!! Haven't had one in a while though so I'll have to get one rustled up! I have a chipotle chilli paste thing in the cupboard which I've yet to try, so I'll have to get myself into gear! It's a proper winter warmer isn't it, and so versatile! Ohhhhhhhh I know what's going to be appearing on my menu very soon!! Thanks for the inspo. x
 
I used some of that in my mexican chicken dish the other night. It's very tasty!!
