Diary of Poohbearmufc & Minilady

Don't know what day it is... am hungry, trying to resist... had two bars so far today (i know I am only supposed to have one!!) but better than some of things I could of eaten. Tetra is in the freezer so will eat that when it is ready... have banished my remaining bars into the freezer to so I can't just pick one up and eat it (otherwise it will break my teeth!!)... Have done some comparison photo's of me before and me in my summer dress to keep me motivated!!Hope everyone else is having a good day, trying to drink lots and lots of water today.. at 4.5 litres so far..Quite strange I find if I cook i'm not hungry but can't fatten everyone else up as my mum put it today.. then was talking about a BBQ and asked how to BBQ a lettuce leaf!!!! ha ha ha!!Love

Uneventful Saturday day time, day consisted of housework mainly. Had some friends over in the evening which was lovely and we ordered an indian. It was devine:drool: I only had a chicken tikka starter, but oooh it tasted good and I bulked it up with lambs lettuce and cucumber.

Today we decided to go and check out our caravan which has stood in a field on a friends farm all winter. Surprise surprise:rolleyes: We've had occupants through the winter again. MICE...little rodents decided this year to make their nest in the cutlery drawer. Mouse poo all over the floor:mad: Luckily they havent destroyed anything else and fridge and cooker appeared to be mickey free.

We are off in the caravan next week to a Wild West Show locally in Kent. We go every year and show our 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 American car. The kids absolutely love this show, as it involves indians (the real mccoy plus budding english enthusiasts) Rodeo riding, civil war reenactments and saloon shoot outs. It's great loads to do for the kids, plus the venue has ball parks, golf, farm animals etc. To top it off the whole weekend only costs us £25 with free access to everything.

Most shows we go to are a lot further afield and the venues are army bases and the like.

Anyway bought a gazebo today with netting sides, so we can sit in the evening without getting bitten alive. Have to start making a list of what to take and also what to replace, thanks to the mice. We're all really looking forward to it. Every year it turns into a beer fest, but not for me this year, still strictly water and coffee for me. I'm not dreading it with regard to eating and drinking, but I think I'll quite miss Minimins...3 days away, how will I cope!!!!!!!:tear_drop:

Went with a friend jogging tonight:eek: It reminded me I must quit smoking, my lung capacity is zero:sigh: Nice run though right along the sea front and back, which is quite a distance. Decided we will go twice a week, and as I've been going to aerobics twice a week and swimming once I feel this is enough, and hopefully I can still lose a little bit more weight whilst moving up through the plans:)

Got back to my friends totally puffed out and then set about giving her a set of false nails. I am doing an evening course at college, I've passed the manicure and pedicure assessments and silk wrap and in a couple of weeks will be doing assessments in gel and acrylic nails, so I've been practising a lot, all my friends love it getting their nails done for free:) Lol when I'm qualified I'll start to charge though, don't feel it would be right to yet. Nearly finished the course, I will miss going, the girls are great and we have good fun. Think I might do a massage course next!

Enough waffling for now, all in all a nice weekend.

Isn't that funny Tracey, I did a VTCT diploma in manicure and nail art!!!

Oh how funny! Lol shame we don't live nearer, we could do each others nails:)

We dont do the nail art on this course, and think they run an extra one for that. I wanted to learn the false nails. I've loved the course. Mines also a VTCT. Hopefull after July I'll be fully qualified.

Hey Hey all, have been back to debenhams today to change my summer dress hubby bought me for a smaller size, he insisted that I try it on first - A SIZE 14!!! and it zipped up and pulled me in, he he he, will get him to take a photo and I will have to post when I am back in work on Tuesday... but me in a size 14!! Hasn't stopped me slightly picking today... only a little bit of chicken but it has to stop! (can't quite understand why my pant size is still an 18 though! but I am sure it will catch up!Love

RESULT!!.Well donw nikki V V proud of you & pics seem to be required ( er I mean please)

the bottom thing is dispiriting, I'm still in my s22 knicksers.Admittedly they were on the stretch pre-CD & are looser now but I'm waiting in increasing desparation for them to become 'too large' & it just ain't happening.

One day....
One day... I keep telling myself

Me too! I think we'd make a great team, it's a bit late now for the old noggin to think, but don't fret I'll come up with an appropriate name for the intrepid duo:D

As long as the determination is still there & the sins are small & 'best choice' sins you'll be fine.(well that's what I reckon,& I bet your CDC would agree) As I undrstand it there's a world of difference between just eating enough carbs for your body to use & thus tip you out of ketosis briefly,Vs loading up with them, storing glycogen & going back to square one.
Sorry ..grandmas' eggs.
Just meant to say you're doing brilll.

PS how do you BBQ a lettuce leaf?

Tikka coloured typing:gimi:

Ah lil mice. They don't do any harm really.
Not lke their large ugly disease ridden cousin.

If i've got time one day I'll tell you the story of Katy (no1) the shrew & the school open day.

What on earth is VTCT?

I've heard of NVQ (did one in brick laying as it happens)
& city & guilds ,but this is new to me.

I have put some new photo's of my new summer dress on my new body in my galllery :angeldevil: let me know what you think...

Love

Meet is at end of June - 30th I think - we're going over for the Friday/Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to it.

We should think about a North West meet!! Maybe Chester???

Your knickers will be round your ankles before you know it:eek: :D

LOL I think your doing yourself an injustice here Jane! You'll have a J-Lo bum before long, and I havent got a bum at all:( from a sideways view my tummy sticks out further than the bum!

I still can't think of an apt name, been trying to incorporate hippies and veg, but nothing is coming to mind as yet.

Good idea:smoke: :whoopass: ( :rotflmao:)

Wow bricklaying course...sounds like fun. We added a conservatory on the back of the house a couple of years ago, and decided to do the bricks ourselves. Hubby did the big breeze block things on the inner part of the wall, and I did the bricks. It took me a whole week to comple the dwarf wall, but I was so pleased with my acheivement. Lol it would have taken a bricklayer a day but there you go! Conservatory still standing though:D :D :D

The course is similar to NVQ, but named differently for the beauty industry. At the end I will have a reconised certificate, so will be able to get insurance etc. If I wanted to go to a salon (which I don't) It would be a recognised certificate to get a job.

I'd love to hear about the shrew when you have time.

In America the Fairlane was introduced as a ladies car. It does have small fins and lovely Chrome bumpers and grill etc.

We've had her for 4 years now and Hubby is doing up a 1947 Ford, which is gorgeous It is big and bulky, no fins:( but huge Chrome bits and pieces and is a bulky rounded car.

So unfortunately this is the last season for us with the Fairlane, as soon as the 1947 is roadworthy we will be selling the other:wave_cry: I'll be sad too see it go, we've had great fun with it.

My CDC is still poorly, might go and see Beverley (flirty40greeneyes) as she is kind enough to see me and give me my rations for the week (or two!)...Are you looking forward to getting weighed? How is 790 going?Love

790 is going fine, moving up to 1000 soon:eek:   Was a little scared at the thought of that as I would like to lose a bit more weight. But it was explained to me that I will still lose weight, but slower than before. Apparently WW and SW all work on around 1000 cals a day. So am feeling happier.

Yes I'm looking forward to weigh in, as you know I am a serial weigher, and I have had a sneaky peek today. I should have broken the 3 stone barrier and that will mean that I am officially smaller than I've ever been since having any kids:D :D :D

CDC is coming tomorrow with my application form to become a counsellor, I can't wait:D :D :D :D

Hopefully they'll take me on, so fingers crossed.

You will do fine hunny, just had word my CDC will see me for an appointment so I really hope she is feeling better, so will see what I weigh... not expecting too much as this week I don't tend to (in a routine)..Good luck with the 3 stone marker, fingers crossed for you... just don't forget to update on here...Lots of Love

Good luck to you too Nikki. Glad your CDC is feeling better.

See you here tomorrow to see how we've done:D

Had my 11th weigh in and another 3lbs gone!!!!!!!

That just leaves me 7 til goal:D :D :D However I don't know if other people feel this way the nearer they get, but I'm thinking of moving the goal post!

I set my original goal at 9 1/2 stone, mainly because this felt a realistic goal and to be honest because of years of yoyoing I didn't know if I could do it. I am only just over 5' 2" so this although healthy is still at the far end of the healthy weight limit. I'm now considering 9 stones:eek:  which I haven't been since I was about 18.

Starting the 1000 plan in a couple of days so obviously the last stone will take some time now, the exercise should help with the extra calories though.

So soon be saying goodbye for ever to ketosis:wave_cry:
