Dietninjas 21 Day Fix & SW Diary

Feel like I've eaten loads today, but MFP says I'm still under 1500!!! Whoop!

So now I feel I can relax a bit more and trust the plan. So time to wean myself off MFP!

DN, you're a brave woman. Your average day has lately come to resemble a set of mathematical calculations! I know chopping and changing suits you and helps you to lose weight. I couldn't handle that many radical adjustments. I'd go mildly cuckoo!

As the saying goes - if it works, don't fix it. You're doing great and better still you're enjoying life xx

How much exercise have you done today? I wonder how much comes from the steps

I'm happy when I settle down...it's just taking a while to find the place where I'm happy!

I'm much larger than you!

Today I did Pilates (30 min DVD less than 1000 steps and barely a blip on the heart rate), walked to work, walked around all day at work, went for a run (4.25 miles fitbit says 7500 steps), came home, made dinner for me & kids, did a few chores, had bath, now in bed, knackered!

I have quite an active job. Work wise, wed & thurs are my least active because I have the least classes on these days...
 
Food 21/5

B - wholemeal pitta (hexb1)with 2 chipolata sausages (3 syns plus 1 for a smidgen of coconut oil), cottage cheese

L - cajun chicken, roast veg & feta (hexa1)

T - dinner at a friends so I'm guesstimating - 3 homemade falafels (made with peanut butter - 2 syns), salad with nuts & seeds (hexb2) and dressing (oil - 4 syns)

Home - still peckish so a large cup of butternut squash & chilli soup

Ex - 30 min legs

Post workout shake & tsp honey (1 syn)

3am...1/2 quest bar...

Total syns: 15.5
Missing one hexa but don't fancy any more cheese...

Very nice work out! Today I ran 14.5km on a 4.5% incline for 30seconds then small rest * 20. Not once did I get into peak!!! Wtaf?!!! Lol
 
You need to be old like me :) now I've hit forty I find it so much easier to get up to peak HR because all the calculations lower the values :)
 
It's 3.50am. I haven't been able to sleep since 2 so I got up, did my marking and had half a quest bar as I was hungry. Need to get some more fruit in as snacks.
 
I was so hopeful about SW but within a few days I fell back into old patterns...am I eating too much? Am I eating enough? Oh no it would have been better to have had that...I've blown it now etc.

So I had a major binge on Fri night. Horrible. Not even a treat night but 1/2 box lindor choccies, big bag of kettle crisps & dip, large latte, Thai green chicken curry, 1/2 tub Ben & jerrys. I just couldn't draw the line at the Chocs which is what I should have done.

Fri was a draining day (year 11 last day and I said goodbye to my tutor group who I had for 5 years), but it was because I felt like I was on a restricted diet and blew it.

So today I didn't eat until I was hungry (6pm...binge purge pattern anyone?). And now I'm not sure what I'm doing.

Options:
- return to SW, treat this as a blip
- return to bodycoach...I did that without a binge for 9 weeks
- something new

Not sure but not rushing to make a decision.

11am skinny latte

Not sure what the plan is for the rest of the day but tomorrow I'm restarting the body coach. I emailed and said I'd had a break and should I do a little if cycle 1 and 2 and they said no, just go straight on to cycle 3. So from tomorrow that is what I'm doing.

Need to plan it out today and get prepared. Only thing is I only have £30 to last me til Thursday as we spent a fortune on the new puppy....who's gorgeous

1 x Exante choc Orange bar
60g lizis granola with 130g 0% total yoghurt.

Bizarre I know!

900 cals / 34 carbs

Aww thanks! It's a bit of a useless diary as I haven't found my feet!

Not sure what I'm doing diet wise! Am going back to the body coach but I may delay a day or 2 and stay on Exante until payday as I already have the packs!

It's going fine. I find the first few days of Exante fine...which I know isn't how a lot of people find it! For me the hard times kick in around day 5 when it starts messing with my head.

But at the moment I'm playing it by ear. If I feel like eating, I will.

What diet are you doing?
