Dinkie Dawnies Dubious Diary of Downsizing, Deflation, and Debauchery

Must be something about these foreigners Dawn. Sarah's fond of Indian and Chinese. I'm so hardore, the coffee would win everytime** I'm sympathising with the cold mornings. It's not right!

I think my biggest NSV in the next week would be a freak heatwave!

** I also believe the earth is flat and the moon is made of green cheese.

ps. Good luck for tomorrow's WI - I know I am trying to catch you, but I'd sooner do it by me losing rather than you gaining!

Thanks Steve x

The rest of my week has been fine...it was just Sat, Sun & Mon that's done the damage! I can usually get away with one day off plan...by 3 in a row is just too much! I'm annoyed cos i don't mind not losing...but I hate gaining lol!

It's so nice when you get compliments isn't it?! Makes it all worth the effort.

So it looks like you are as addicted to salad cream as I am! Thank goodness I like the 70% lighter one and have a good stock from trips to England :)

Have a great day xx

I love my salad cream lol! I'd have it on everything if I could! I really like salad and have it every day! I do like balsamic vinegar for a change sometimes, but salad cream is my favourite :)

Morning dawn
Good luck with Wi later I've put 2.5 on :-(
I'm off work till Monday hope you enjoy your break too
By the way can I ask what NSV stands for I know it must be a compliment but being a but thick can't quiet work it out ;-)
Have a good day xx

Ok! Ok!

I've been talking to Sarah!!! Some of us have friends you know!!! ;)

Helloooo guys :wavey:

Well...I feel like I got away with it this week...

I managed to squeeze a 1lb loss lol! :girlpower:

So I'm 10st 2lbs now :D and think I will possibly lower my target to 10st...but I still have concerns over maintaining a low weight (for me) like that. So I'm going to try for the 10 and see what happens...if I'm struggling I'll hopefully just go back up to within the 10st 7lbs range. At least that's my plan...it could all change!

I know another 2lbs isn't going to make any difference at all to the way I look. It's more of a mental challenge really, to try to get to a weight that I was last at when I was a teen!

Anyhow, I've had a lovely day! Gorgeous hubbs and I went to check out the new Asda that opened near us this week. Wow...it was brilliant! The fruit and veg was amazing, and the choice of other stuff was excellent. And we ended up buying 2 dresses, a pair of jeans, a pair of smart trousers & some pj's (cos I went to wear mine last night and they wouldn't stay up lol!) and some how we managed to spend £210

Gwyn says he's not taking me there again! :8855:

Hope everyone's ok, and thank you for your good luck messages! :)

Well done dawn that's amazing :) we shall have to see you gets to 10 first ha ha I'm putting my money on you after my gain today ;-)
How lovely to have a spending spree I want to do that too when I get to target x

NSV = non scale victory :)

Thanks for that I would never have worked it out ha ha :)

Good Evening Dinky Dawn.

Finally back to catch up with everyone's diary after the Lovely Lou has gone home and then me spending 24 hours in bed with a nasty cold! Grrrrrrr

Thank you for your lovely comments on Jackie's diary. My stats even surprised me. They'll get reposted on mine when (note not if any longer) I get to target!

There's so much gone on in your diary in the last 5 days. Suki puppy training (bless), fantastic NSV and marriage proposal (I take it Gwyn knows all about this?), lovely birthday weekend (belated wishes to Vicki from me too), and a cheeky loss as well after all that food.

But best of all . . . for me at any rate . . .

You in a size 10! Whoop Whoop - hence the new title of Dinky Dawn.

I know what you mean about "mental challenge" though. I just had to get below 12 st. What difference does it make whether I'm 12 st or 11 st 13 lbs??? But I had to do it. And now I'm so peed off because I've shrunk that I really need to lose another 3 lbs to keep the same BMI. Grrrrrrrr

Anyway, off to bed now as I'm FREEZING and it is rather late again.

Night chica and well done on the trousers!

PS Have I lost the plot? I thought you only had 2 kids (Vicki and Daniel) but I think there are 3 now (+ Andrew). Am I losing the plot and need to move to the asylum?

Hi Itsy-bitsy Bev! x

Lol to the Dinky Dawn!

I'm so thrilled to be in the tens and to be a size ten! I still can't quite believe it! In fact I had a good talking to by Sarah tonight about my low opinion and attitude towards my body, and I kinda get what she was saying. She called me skinny and I went on to list all the parts of my body that are most definately NOT skinny...but can't be seen when I'm wearing clothes. And Sarah replied that I probably look at other people and think they're skinny and perfect...when underneath their clothes they're quite possibly just like me!! I hadn't really thought of that!

That's a dirty trick to be played on you hunni...losing 3" in height! How unfair is that??? I'd be pretty peed off too lol!

And yes, I have 3 children! Andrew is 24 and still at home, just like the other 2. He's been coming to SW and has managed to lose 2st so far, so I'm very proud of him. And today he found out he'd passed the maths part of his exam! So at long last, he finally has the equivalent of 5 GCSE's including maths and English.:)

Have a good day tomorrow sweetie and I hope to catch up with you again soon xxx

Not quite shrunk that much. Just over ½" - but it means I ought to lose 3 extra lbs once I get to my interim. I'm thinking about it - and whether the bingo wings will take it!

He must be really pleased - say congrats from me!
How old is Daniel? He's the only one who's age I now don't know.

And the lovely Sarah (she won't like that at all will she?) is absolutely right. My ultra skinny friend Em who weighs in at a massive 9 st and is 5' 8" tall complains about wobbly bits after 3 c-sections! You can't see a blumin' thing when she has jeans and a t-shirt on. And I bet you are the same!!!!

As you can see I'm still here. Been catching up on a thread that is heartbreaking and always makes me cry.

Anyway, really am off to bed now!

Lol! Sorry Bev! I've got u down as the incredible shrinking woman! Think I got my 3lbs mixed up with my 3 inches lol!

Ooh...you like living dangerously! Fancy calling Sarah lovely! Actually you might be lucky and get away with it as technically its being called "nice" that she objects to...so you might be ok!

Daniel is 22 and has just moved back home after splitting up with his gf. So quite a full house now...6 of us if you include suki...who's currently splayed out on our bed lol!
