this is the pic that made me think, enough was enough. i won't post the whole pic (not fair on the other people on the pic to post it), but i am sat in the middle of a group of work friends who are all grining and having a good time, but i'm sat there over twice their size and my smile is totally fake, and that little voice in my head is screaming "please don't take this pic"

Yes, there's a picture of me on a night out I use as my screensaver when I need extra motivation!



And here's me at my skinniest, 2 lb below target. I've put on 7lb in the last year and am on a mission to get back into this dress. It zips up snugly at the lower weight so it's my incentive.



Also hope you don't find this weird MrsWilsoncroft but I think I recognise you from a wedding website? You got married a few months after me, I had the 50s style dress.

There is one particular picture of me that popped up on Facebook and I was mortified which really spurred me on to do something about it. I have been struggling with my weight since I was around 10 years old (previous to this I was underweight and had to see a dietician to help me put weight on - I will never forgive her! Haha!) but always managed to have pictures taken that were flattering - Good for the ego, bad for the actual figure! While I've tried on and off with quite a few diets, I was always happy enough with myself to give up after 1-2st. After seeing this one particular picture I couldn't believe it - While the scales had been telling me one thing, my eyes had obviously been in denial - This time I'm not seeing it as a diet at all, just a new way of eating and honestly, I'm having some of the best meals I've had in a long time! I'll see if I can dig that horrible picture up....

On my first weigh in i asked my partner to take a full body photo of me in my favorite fat clothes and i also digged out one of me before i pilled the weight on.

I now have both in my kitchen stuck up next to each other which really helps! The fatty photo shows me what i was and what i dont want to become EVER again and the skinny one of me keeps going knowing that one day i WILL look like that again

I also have my slimmer of the week and slimmer of the month awards stuck up as well reminding me what i can do

This is really helping me seeing me at my biggest and most upset to a photo where i look so happy healthy and skinny

Wow! That's incredible! You can tell the smile doesn't really reach your eyes in the first pic but, it definitely does after your transformation! Well done. x
