DOING SW FROM HOME???

Thank you so much :)

We like korma, tikka masala, rogan josh.

Only been doing sw a week, red days. If I had a curry, should I stick to a red day and syn rice. No idea about ee! :)

Tilly when I have green day I make riso gallo risotto with quorn pieces for lunch ad add spinach peas and mushrooms, And use a hexB on prawns and have nice pasta for dinner as you get quite a good allowance. Asda meatless burgers are good too as they are 0.5 syns each so I have 2 with a wholemeal roll, chips and SW coleslaw/salad. Really filling! Xx

Thanks Charl sounds yummy! Think it was Laura that was looking for Green Day meal
Ideas but I'll take your ideas too hehe!
I use the Tesco Roasted Veg Couscous (3 syns for the whole pack but i never eat a whole pack!) or Lemon & Corriander which is 1 syn per pack so 1/2 a syn so you can class it on any plan I'd say?

I haven't a clue when it comes to E/E either...just can't get my head around it! X

Thanks for the ideas :) And for those that don't understand EE, it's so easy! You just get one of each Hex, any free foods from both red and green, and the lowest of syns from each plan... :) I find it easiest to do, but kind of liking greens so far :)

Thanks Laura! I think I'll stick with my Green Days too as I love my carbs! Hehe!
X

Haha sorry Tilly!! For some reason I think I get you and Laura mixed up?!

Id defo try an EE day if you were having curry, just fill 1/3 of your plate with protein, 1/3 carbs and 1/3 Superfree. If you get a takeaway curry just make your own little Indian salad they are good and go so well with currys it's just 2 grated carrots, 1 sliced chilli, a red onion, 2 tomatoes diced up and peeled and cored cucumber diced up too, mix it with mint and lemon and it's lush!

I'll get back to u with curry syns in a few mins when I'm home. X

Ok chicken tikka masala is 14.5 for a 360g serving on red and EE. 26.5 on green.

Lamb rogan josh is 6.5 on red and EE and 23.5 on green for 360g serving

Chicken korma is 16.5 on red and EE and 30 on green for 360g serving.

Plain rice is free on green and EE but for 300g on red it's 20

So I would defo try an EE day

If u love currys get the curry heaven recipie book off eBay it's awesome

X

Yes 1 hexA and one hexB so milk or cheese. And cereal/bread

It's 1/3 of your plate Superfree. X

Even better, ha! Another silly question, but do you have to have protein and carb every meal. Easy enough for tea, but lunch I mainly have salad and a bit of ham/tuna. Or an omelette. Is this still ok on an ee day?

:)

Yep it's totally fine, it's probably better if you didn't really! It's just nice having a big jacket potato with beans or tuna and not having to use 1 as a hex! I know people seem to get better losses on red/green. I was trying to do red and green in the week and EE at weekends but ive been crap lately and just done EE all the time x

Thank you so much for your help. I'd like to join a class but the times are pants near me, 5.30 which is teatime for my 2 boys (under 3). My sister gave me her books but nothing on ee. Ordered a red recipe book, got a green one. Will def get a curry one too!

:)

It's ok :) it's hard sometimes when it's all new and the different plans can get a bit confusing xx

Sorry for my dozyness but do you still use 'free' foods or are they non existent on E/E?
Still can't get my head round it sorry haha!
X

Yep! Free food is just the same but you can obv mix them. So everything that's free on green and free on red is free on EE but you can eat them together as long as you make sure 1/3 portion is Superfree x

Ahh cool thanks Charl! You've been a great help!

Morning!

Just had low fat yoghurt, fruit and a crumbled up alpen light bar for brekkie. Fruit and bar were lush but the yoghurt was rank! Gonna have to experiment with brands! Trying a green day, very much looking forward to a baked potato and beans!

:)

Yay!! 3.5lbs off for me today! :) that's the best I've ever lost, the 30 day shred seems to be working for me! It's only been 5 days since I started it too. So so happy as I've now lost my first stone and dropped into the next stone range my first big target! :) 2 more to go!!
