DOING SW FROM HOME???

Wow! You've got well into it!! I just had my dinner so doing it in an hour or so, my friends coming to stay tomorrow and the house is an absolute tip so need to do a mega clean too. Eek! I always leave everything til the last minute x
 
I wouldn't be doing so well without the support of you guys. Hope you have a fab time with your friends and try and be good and stay on track :)
 
I think I'm going to be ok-ish.. going to go for japanese tomorrow as I want noodle bowl soup, which is good syn wise, then bf's making SW dinner for us when we get home, fri, i'll be cooking SW spanish feasts, only going out for posh lunch sat, but i'll make a good choice, only thing is boozing, but I haven't drank for 3 weeks which is ok for me, I'm well prepared for a STS next week. I feel really weird this evening, lightheaded and sick and all my joints are aching. hmm, i don't want to be poorly :( x
 
Charl, get yourself dosed up and have an early night. I really hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy your visitors. I am not so sure I am understanding this EE and think I am eating wrong at the moment. I know you shouldn't weight yourself too often but I haven't lost anything since Sunday. I am really watching what I am eating and have exercised the last 4 days :sigh:

Love to know what your sw spanish feast is charl!! Sounds like you have your weekend sorted, you'll be ok and if you haven't drunk for 3 weeks you'll only need 2!

Well done icurez! I've just got back from a 3.5 mile run and feeling good. Realised I haven't had my hexa yet so will have a nice glass of milk in a bit, which is fab after exercise!

Am intrigued for weigh in tomorrow! Gonna pop some magic porridge in the fridge tonight, see what it's like!

I just make a big SW friendly paella with chicken thighs, peppers, peas, green beans and loads of seafood, some syns in it as I put in a little chorizo for flavour and colour and some white wine. I posted some photos of my last one in my diary somewhere it was good! some meatballs in this hairy bikers recipe I found and amended to make SW and adding a chopped tomato and olive box thing. And did some little potato cubes with smoked paprika and put the meatballs ontop. A big salad too, so so good and really low syns xx
 
I don't have a food diary on here as I am not sure how to do that. I could tell you what I eat?
You sound like a wonderful cook. What time shall I come round for dinner??? lol
 
Yep just run through your food for maybe 2/3 days every single thing you've eaten and I should be able to point out anything wrong, if anything.. Midweek weighing is naughty! It never shows you an accurate reading. X
 
Breakfast (everyday) - fresh fruit salad (pineapple, kiwi, pomegrante, mango, grapes and strawberries) with fat free natural yoghurt.

Lunch (everyday) - warburtons thins sandwich bread, no butter 1oz of cheese with tomato and cucumber

Dinner - Chilli and rice made with lean mince and fry light
or - SW spaghetti bolognese
or - Surf and Turf - Lean steak, new potatoes, broccoli, leeks, carrots, mushroom and prawns

Not as exciting as your menu lol
 
That sounds really good. Are you using your syns though? And is your mince lean or extra lean? If your having the same thing for breakfast everyday your body will get used to having it if poss change it up a little and have some different things. X
 
Hi I am also doing it from home and I'm now only 3lbs away from my goal (which I am changing slightly now) I miss the groups to be honest and I found at first that it was too easy just to not weigh myself and promise I would do it next week. I solved this problem by going to Boots every week and paying 50p to get weighed on their scales. It was a small change to make but still felt like I was 'going to get weighed' and my friends and family still asked how i'd done so I couldn't get away with it so easily. I also buy the magazine every month for new inspiration and have joined a few groups on facebook. There is so much support out there, it can be done! The only thing I miss now is getting a sticker on my book, it's not much but it's a recognition of your hard work! Maybe I'll make stickers lol xx
 
I think it was just lean mince. I sometimes have just a banana for breakfast and use to have weetabix but am sure that's a heb and so would my lunchtime bread be so have to be careful. I don't have syns very often. I know I should use them but I try not to snack between meals. Not only that but I feel that if I am going to eat something that will cost me syns, it had better be worth it and apart from a kebab and chips, I have yet to find something worthy of spending my syns on lol

Well its only extra lean mince which is free, lean has to be synned. You should defo try and use your syns as it really does help with the losses, for some weird reason. I know some people actually STS or gain first week of doing the shred, as your body holds on to a lot of things, then adjusts then you see the results week 2. I think I only lost as I never do any hard exercise so it literally shocked my body and I lost. I don't feel like I've lost any weight this week, we'll see friday, I feel bigger if anything. xx
 
Just finished shred and showered after 3 hours of cleaning and preparing the house for visitors. Oh my god i think I'm dead. Urrgggh!
 
Well done on all that exercise though!
