DOING SW FROM HOME???

I'm with you Jen! Woke up feeling ridiculously hungry, gonna do the school run and make a SW fry up to remind me actually this plan is pretty good! Xx
 
Morning all :) I'm on day 4 and am going to make a conscious effort to drink more today. What you said earlier Jenni sounds like it makes sense, I don't drink much other than tea. I have about 5 cups a day. Hopefully this will help with the hunger pangs. Apart from that I'm quite enjoying the plan, I left work in the summer to look after my 2 boys so its nice to have something personal for me to focus on! Have a great Monday everyone, Ruth x

I've been really good this week and was a bit bummed this morning when I had a sneaky look before my WI on Wed and it's only showing a 1lb loss so far :( I know I won't know the exact amount until Wed but its annoying to think I'm really trying and not losing as much as I thought I would! But I need to get into the frame of mind if thinking even a 1lb loss is better than any gain!

Hello ladies back on plan for me too.. shoved all the leftover chocs etc to the back of the cupboard ready to take for girls nights, they can take care of them lol kept a couple back for scheduled treats

Put on so much weight over Christmas that it's got to go plus all the other I put on last year, so it's being good and plenty of water this year for me. Decided I'll go it alone without class still see what happens and if I'm not loosing once I've paid my debts off :( (grr had to pay out £600 quid unexpectedly over Christmas so am starting the year off in debt already to my Mom) sign up for a course of classes and see what I'm doing wrong...

Today doing SE or Red as I can't decide what to eat for breakfast, then going to plan ahead better I think, stocked up on salad and fruit, already have a pan of free soup made, and have hard boiled eggs on the go for lunches for the next few days. Tonight I'm having chicken fillet with roasted peppers, tomatoes garlic onion and potatoes..

Just need to set up a food diary and I'm good to go..

Then hospital next week and hopefully I'll get the all clear to start exercising again, until my shoulder gets sorted I think the wii will be my best friend lol... Hopin to start running again this year too..

1st full wk back @ work & SW. WI on a sat & so far so gd. Put all my weight back on so really nd 2 get finger out! Nd 2 - houston in a month :)

Morning all,
First day back at work today and properly on plan. Although having said that, I had a alpen light bar for breakfast and was planning on toast for lunch which I am not sure you can do. Any advise would be gratefully received. I really want to do this but at the same time am not entirely sure I am in the right place to do it yet. I have everything crossed that I can stick to it. Nothing like a good first loss to give you the motivation but difficult to get there without the motivation in the first place. BTW I did manage an hour on just dance last night with the children au look at that as a positive start x

Morning all!

I joined SW online on Friday. Doing extra easy and already loving not having to count calories and weigh out every single thing I eat (well the free food anyway).

I'd really like to keep a note of what I'm eating though, but not sure whether to set up something on the pc or just use good old paper and pen. Any advice would be very welcome!

Welcome. I have downloaded apps on my phone as I always have it with me. I have a diet docs diary which is good as it gives you the opportunity to write down any symptoms ie bloating etc. I also have diet coach pro and I have set this up to throw random inspirational quotes at me via my notifications bar throughout the day. I find this really helps me. Good luck and we are all here if you need us x

Clara - if you find you use this website regularly you can set a food diary up on here. I did it this way because i have computer access al day at work and i have the minimins app on my phone.

Li - YAY welcome back :)

So glad to see all the old faces back (not literally 'old' faces, haha) and its lovely to have all the newbies. With so many of us spurring each other on we're bound to do well :)

Back to work today and there are still about 10 unopened boxes and tins of chocolate in the office. I've covered them over with a blanket, out of sight out of mind i hope! Need to up my water intake, didnt have my morning tea today as i was so busy with work i forgot.
 
Don`t know what is happening!!!

I know I`m a tea adict but I`m drinking even more than normal. I can`t get my brain working until I`ve had 3 large mugs of the stuff!!

Is this normal?

Unfortunately, my life is anything but normal. Had to give up work to look after my disabled hubby.
The tablets he takes knock him out cold. It`s 11.20am and he`s still asleep!!

Well done you for looking after him, i'm sure its not an easy thing to do and i admire you for that :)
I do love a cup of tea, just didnt have the time this morning. Will have one tonight instead!
 
Hah Toni my face defo feels old today

Well I tried to set up afood diary and I think I set up a blog instead oops, then I can't get back into it to change it other than comment on myself I'm such a duh brain... Can anyone point me in the right direction to the food diary section.

SE today Late brekkie of bacon egg mushrooms beans and yucky tinned toms to make it strictly SE...urgh I'd rather just have an empty space on my plate tbh lol
 
Clara - I write my food diary down everywhere.. LITERALLY. The more I write it down the more likely I am to stick to it! I have a food diary on here, and I have a diary at home I write it on, I also have a planner up on the wall I write on, and I also have an app called myfitnesspal i log my food on. Some may say excessive. I kind of agree! haha, but I suppose it keeps me on the straight and narrow.
 
You are amazing Grannieannie! I'm a nurse so can appreciate what you're going through. Good on you for thinking about yourself tho, you are just as important and we'll all help you!

I think I'm addicted to coffee! Was always a tea drinker but since sw started drinking black coffee to save my hexa. Now can't stomach tea, the milk makes me feel really sick. I feel like I 'need' coffee every couple of hours, it's not good! Also, now working in an office, I drink a lot more :-(

MissPeriPeri i have myfitnesspal on my phone too, not great at updating it to be honest but its a good app.

I use 'Map My Wallk' when i go for my walks too, helps me keep track on how far i walk and how quickly i do it.
