Morning all,
Hope you have all had a great christmas and new year. Sorry I haven't been on but it has just been so busy. I have only been brave enough to get on the scales once since christmas and it showed I had a really good christmas lol. Not been on them again since and still have a few little nibbles left that need eating before I can seriously start again. I am going to sit down and work out a meal plan for every day if I can and I am going to make a concerted effort to do the 30 day shred dvd, especially as I have some weights now. I am not sure if I will manage every day but will try my best. I now have only 9 weeks to get into my ball gown and need to lose at least 29 pounds. Sunday will be my starting point and it will be full steam ahead from there. Happy new year to you all and I hope each and every one of you reach and keep your targets in 2013 xxx

Sneaking back in with my tail between my legs. Put 9 lbs on since I fell well and truly off the wagon, but I'm back on again. Feel really bloated and sluggish and generally C**P! Can't put it off any longer. I've got friends coming to stay Fri and Sat nights so temptation is to say stuff it until monday, but then I'm just putting it off. If I can at least stay the same before monday morning weigh in then it will be a start:)
 
Welcome back ladies! Just jump in feet 1st wothout thinking too much like I did yesterday! You'll be surprised how easy it is to get back into it and you remember everything! Good Luck!! X
 
It was going so well until bf suggested a lunch on him in town, hehe! Oh well there's always tomorrow. Although I will try and make some good choices. Might just do EE today as its better for eating out x
 
Oh your joking about the cranberry and raspberry Dorset porridge, its so yummy oh well back to plain porridge it is then.
 
I've given myself a new target to aim for, lose 14lbs by 16th March. Thats 3 days before my birthday and i would quite like to be 11st 5lb or under! Then i'll do my next mini goal after that. I like doing mini goals rather than one large goal because it makes it seems more do-able. Cant believe i have already lost 1st 8.5lbs! Having a bit of a realisation day today and its making me feel like i can carry on doing this (even though i've eaten chocolates at work today!!). Need to go and do a proper shop so that i know i've got snacks which are superfree or low syn.
Would love to be in the 10's by June :D

EEk what a lot of changes! My book is definitely out of date. I'm almost tempted to use the daily mirror voucher and join a meeting to get the new book. Must check OH's shifts and see if it is doable.
 
Yep my new target date is my birthday, may 5th so with my stupid Xmas gain I have like a stone and a halfish to lose, still ill, but going to start 30ds again once I feel better :)

Had an ok day I guess went for sushi, and then halved a sundae was quite a small one tho. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day! Xx
 
Oh dear haha, already off plan, whoops! Felt it coming though, I'm just not in the right headset yet. I need to step back onto the scales, see how much I've put on and that should shock me back into it I hope!

Finally finished at my work experience :) Looking forward to a week or so to rest before I start the apprenticeship at the nursery (that's if I get it! Need to stop building it up or I'll just be even more dissapointed if I don't get it!).

Laura, it is good to be positive so that way, you have a better chance of getting it. I am sure you get it and will be happy working there. Good luck.
 
My meals have been fine today...it's the chocolate at work that hasn't! I'm putting myself on the straight and narrow from weigh in at the weekend too x

I was very good even though temptation followed me everywhere. I had an appointment then went out to Costco to renew my membership. If I had to kill for one thing it would be the cinnamon swirls from Costco with cream cheese frosting. I walked out empty handed after a walk around, yey me! Then spent some money in Ikea on plates/bowls, then went to asda to get some pasta and sauce.

I walked out of there with two pizzas (in the freezer for when my mate comes around honest!) even though I wanted to eat one myself since I hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast. I also bought two bags of roasty veggies, three bags of salad, tofu and two packs of yoghurt all of which were reduced.

I just stuffed myself on pasta and sauce, veggies, and more veggies and salad. I don't feel so well now, but I'm looking forward to some yoghurt when there is room! That will teach me for not eating lunch even though that wasn't my intention
 
I've seriously bought so much fresh veg and fruit....too much actually. I'm gonna have to consider blanch coking some of it but doubt it'll fit in my freezer. Was far far too enthusiastic with my shopping list last Sunday lol. Day 3 going ok cooked another SW recipe, Baked Frittata which was really tasty and both teenagers cleared their plates without saying "ewwwww what's THAT??!!". So that's carrot and sweet potato soup, Quorn cottage pie and the frittata thing all from the recipe thing on the SW website all cooked from scratch and not a scrap left on anyone's plate...in my house that's AMAZING!. Still got my hexB choices left so thing it's toast and cereal while watching Celeb BB. :)
 
I've just made a Chick Pea Cake thing! It was supposed to be a Dahl Curry Cake but I couldn't get Chickpea Dahl in Tesco so just kinda made up my own recipe and it's turned out quite nice! Got plenty left for tomorro and I'm sure the family will have a try! Quite pleased with myself for trying something new!
Also got a recipe for Ham & Egg Muffins to try over the weekend!

Evening all

I'm considering starting SW Online tonight and just wondered how you were getting on with it?

The first/last time I did SW, about three years ago, I didn't feel comfortable with the sessions - lots of kids observing proceedings, a truly awful sneery consultant, a very loud Me Me Me woman who dominated the conversation, the equipment often failed so WI took forever, and I didn't get home until late when I was ravenous! I only went a few times, unsurprisingly!

Since then have been doing low carb on and off (more off, tbh :eek:) and although it's very successful for many people (I lost 2 stone in as many months), I need the wider food choices that SW offers (bread, bread, bread, bread :D).

When you subscribe online, do you get hard copies of the books sent out? And can you buy the directories and syn books? They are going for really silly money on ebay!
