Don't you just hate it when....

Thanks for asking x she was still in recovery as she had a lot of pain after her op (had to have a hysterectomy) dad finally got to speak to someone helpful at 11.30pm who said he could go and see her in the recovery room so he and my brother went. She was finally transferred to the ward at about 1am but she's doing well and coming home to day to rest and recover xx

Oh good. Hope she recovers quickly, that's a big op to have x

When you feel like you have swallowed razor blades this morning!

Awww hope you feel better soon, but there does seem to be a lot of that around at the mo.

What has she done hun?

Just her attitude and behaviour. I cannot believe she is only 8 years old.

Her bedroom constantly a hovel. She loses half a day a week tidying it. She was rude to hubs earlier (her dad ) so ended up being sent upstairs for some time out. Instead of just going and keeping quiet for 5 minutes she behaves horrendously. Stamping up the stairs l, crying and bawling in her bedroom so the whole neighbourhood can hear.

Eventually she came back down and asked if I'd play something with her. I said yes of course and told her to go and get something from her room to play/do. This resulted in a sulk because there's nothing in her room to do or play with. I then went and got a Binbag and told her to put it all it in then. She didn't want to do that because then her room would look rubbish and empty.

So I went upstairs and

Got everything out of her cupboards to try and sort through it with her but that was another great big screaming fit.

Games were stuffed in her cupboards not even away in their boxes! So I said once she's tidied up then we can play.

Recommence endless screaming crying and paddling because it's all my fault.

This all basically stemmed from her answering her dad back and being a snotty madam!!

Sorry for the rant, there's just steam coming from my ears at mo!!

No need to apologise kids have a habit of creating that steam! Can't think of much to suggest that you haven't tried by the sounds of it though. Is she tired or something?

God knows.

If so she must be permanently tired.

She just has to have the last word and has this knack of goin on and on and on until you blow.

Grrrrrrrrr

Well I think most of us with children have been there, I remember DD being exactly the same, her bedroom was always untidy, in fact you couldn't walk in her room for toys on the floor. There is no easy answer & things won't improve until she leaves home, well that's what I found anyhow. Just be grateful of alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!

When you have spent hours and hours cleaning the house top to bottom today only to find OH using the bloody hair clippers in the dining room!!!:mad::mad::mad:

And when you have been looking forward to a jaffa cake with your hot choccy later only to discover there's none left!!! Grrr :mad::mad::mad:
