Don't you just hate it when....

When you are waiting in for someone to fix your locks and they don't turn up! I am trying to give them a job! This is the second time in a month this has happened (with different trade people)

When you're in a shop. Two checkouts are open but the two assistants are to busy singing along to the radio at the top of their voice to notice you either that or are discussing enployees/customers/nights out/what's for tea/ their last hangover.

Then they notice you but still carry on chatting while flinging your stuff through the scanner...can't even be bothered to acknowledge you while asking for payment.

It totally p!sses me off and is so bluddy rude.

Hmmpff!!

I notice it more when you're at the self service tills, & need help I often say 'thanks, I know you were busy chatting'.

Haha!! I do that too - I always make a point to say thank you very loudly when someone ignores me when they're serving me!

I went to rome earlier this year and the woman who served me my tickets didn't look at me once and spent the whole time texting whilst I paid!! My nice sharp thank you made her jump a bit ;) rude cow.

Working in a Supermarket and having high levels of service to adhere to makes me notice bad service even more... I'm m not perfect but I do try and make sure I don't fall into the stereotypical assistant... We talk of course we do to each other, but not when you are on a checkout... If you are on the shop floor and you are talking, I stop if someone wants something... Sainsburys drill good service into their staff though, some do let the side down, but most remember why we are there and do a good job...Having said that some customers treat you with contempt and forget you are only human too...
Pet peeve is those that want your undivided attention but are busy chatting on their phones... xx

from the dark side with love...xx

DYJHIW.....you're doing really well and sticking to plan when your OH walks proudly into the lounge and presents you with a huge Thornton's Easter Egg! Felt really mean when I immediately said, 'Oh no! My diet!!' :(

Kathy

When you get disappointed by the amount of men that cheat in this world!!!

Oh no! Although having said that, my 4 year old hasn't had them and I am willing her as I don't want her to get too old and get them xx

My older 2 had them at 4 and they were fine :) was just surprised there was no warning at all... She seems fine though, eating & drinking normal & running around playing

Oh that's good I was going to say the whole family will have them soon, but looks like they've had them. I was 26 when I got chickenpox, then DS & DD she was only a few months old at the time, OH missed out as he'd had them as a child, we all had them at the same time;)

Yeah luckily everyone else has had it... I may have spoke too soon on her being fine though as her lips & mouth are full of chicken pox, poor little chicken :(
