eee look another food diary!

Ooooh, loving the coat :) bet it's nice and cosy in this cold weather.

Check out m&s, really good value, £20 for 3 courses, bubbly and chocolates! No presies this year as our treat is going to see Die Hard 5 on sat, love a bit of Bruce :)

Oh yea, have decided to apply for a course, you've inspired me! Gonna do my health visiting course, well hopefully. Will have interviews etc first, the requirements are a degree tho and my nursing is just a diploma so will see, probably won't even get on the course but I can but try! It's just a year full time, paid as reg nurse so will get some money. We'll see, fingers crossed!

I had bloods done last week so will get results today. I'm always cold and tired too, wondering about my thyroid. We'll see.

Ah good luck with that. I was worried about mine too, for very very similar reasons actually I'm always cold now, although one of the lovelies on a diff thread was saying it may be due to the layer of fat we've shed in the last year. I don't remember being this cold any other winter!

Ah wow!!! That's amazing love!!! I hope you get on. When you're a bit older I think formal quals can be made up by experience and if you prove how your skills are transferable to that course/position you should be fab. I'm so excited for you :) xxx

Ooh, yummy coat- a good coat totally makes all the difference :) I hate being cold. I invested in a couple of chunky cardies from topshop off eBay this winter, they have been a godsend in our storage heated house this year, literally lived in them :)

Well, lunch went a bit wrong as they'd run out of jacket pots by the time we ordered! So I had nothing! Is taken a pot of grapes and blueberries so munched on them while friend had a chicken Caesar wrap with chips! Thus I was ravenous by the time I got home, so had quick small bowl of soup that was in fridge and made sw chips, mushy peas and a lm mozz burger. Utterly stuffed and couldn't eat it all! Lol!
Think I might go back to red tomorrow, and alternate a bit- the red def gave me a boost :)
Hope you've had a good day xx

Oh no Jen!! That bad. Eek! You ok pet?

Loulou oh no! I hate watching other people eat when you're super hungry, well done for sticking to plan though :) awesome effort dear. Ah night storage heaters are pants aren't they, I used to have them in a flat I lived in once, I was always always cold then! Ooo toppers cardi's on eBay :) I must look on there more as you really can get some mega deals. I have about 50 dresses to put on there, I spent years trying to slim into them now I finally got into them I don't even like them anymore! Doh! And some kurt Geiger shoes I love so much but they just make me too tall so I wore them once I think. I'm already 5'9 so in heels I'm like 6'1-2 ish! Scary tall, ESP when Newcastle is a city of short men!

Days been ok, left it too late to check on my Uni reading for tomorrow and there is LOADS! Eek! So much I'm gonna be awake for hours boo! Xx

Ooh, Jenny, just realised what you were ouching, hope you ok x

Oh, it was annoying more than anything esp as I'd tried to plan! Ferl quite empowered when I stick to it though :)
EBay can be fab, these cardies would have been 50 each new and I got them in 'as new' condition for about 15 each- worth keeping an eye, and the app makes things almost too easy!
Recon I might have some dresses and jeans that'll need to go on... I've been saving so many bits for getting back to target, and recon ill have gone off lots of them too.
Ooh, love Kurt Geiger shoes, I've got a lush pair of wedges- but I'm only 5'4" so I need the height on the odd occasion!
Good luck with your uni reading tonight and for tomorrow xx

Eeee I'm only just starting.. Wah! Just read through the powerpoints from the last 2 weeks so I know the context of what I'm reading now. 3 journal articles and a book chapter to go! I soooo wanted an early night too, need to get up early.

I bet you felt empowered, it's the little things like that, that all help with the 'I can do this' vibe. Woop! Feeling mega carbo'd out. Weirdly the scales are lower than this morning?! I think I love green days!

Xx

Well 2 articles, 2 powerpoints and a chapter read and understood (and I think critiqued) 1 more to go but my eyes are too sleepy..

Night all, merry thursday! Xx

Hmm well I came to uni, it's been ok, not great don't think I've got much from it as there were only 7 people who turned up to my seminar this morning out of 30, and no one else really spoke at all so it was all a bit quiet and awkward.. Now watching a programme about the children of the revolution. Been good-ish on plan too apart from some valentines day choc this morning!

GREEN DAY - Thursday

Breakfast : 5 Cadbury hearts (8.5syns)

Lunch (at half 11 - Uni break) : jacket potato with beans and cheese (hexA)

Snack : large wmeal toast (hexB) Vegemite, apple

Dinner : noodles and stir fry veg (spring onion, carrot, babycorn, sugar snap peas, peppers, cabbage) with marinated tofu and edamame beans. Yum!

Valentines day chocs (11.5syns)

Drinks : water, coke zero, tea and coffee (hexA milk)

Dinner sounds yummy! Never had tofu or edamame beans before, but going for a complimentary meal at Yo! Sushi next week so might try it! Well done for going to uni, even if it's been a bit quiet! x

Ooooo free sushi!! Yum! That's like my heaven!

It was ok, the last 20 mins of the day was some really useful academic discussion. The rest hmm, ok .

Well def not going to lose this week in fact I think a gain. It's totm so it is what it is. I have been on plan since Monday but I don't think it's been enough to counteract the weekends naughties, despite me doing the shred 3 times this week.

Gone over SYNS today as bf bought me a HUGE box of chocolates. I had 4, and I bought him some too so I had 5 of his little heart things this morning. Cal wise I'm doing ok tho.

Wah! Bit pee'd off really. I know it's my own fault for going over SYNS but I do always cal count and it has been over the week pretty balanced back out from weekend so I shouldn't really gain as I know and have recorded everything I've consumed. I hope I'm not in the same rut I got in last year, where I just can't lose. Gonna stick with the shred as maybe I can lose some inches even if not losing weight, better than nothing! Xx

It's MASSIVE! I really want to stuff my face in them as I'm feeling really poop, so so tired, was up until 1am reading, then up at 7 to sort everyone out for school and all that!

How hard did you find running at first Jen? I think I'm going to give it a go, I'm 2 stone lighter than last time I tried and def a tiny bit fitter so I think it might be time to hammer the exercise, the boys are at my mums all next week so it might be a good time to try, plus I can take the puppy and I won't look like a weirdo running around the field!

You feeling tip top today?? Excited for nice v day meal?? I'm just going to stick to my noodle plan I think.

I got these too :) and came home to the whole house cleaned, mopped and hoovered. Boy did good! Xx

Crikes, he did extremely well! I might get flowers but I told him NO presies so hopefully he listened. He booked tickets to see Die Hard on sat, that's our presy to each other. Am a total Bruce Willis fan, we've watched all 4 in the last week in preparation lol

I found running unbelievably tough to start with, could only manage 1 min and was a wheezing wreck! I just stuck to it and eventually increased my time. I got to the point where I could just keep plodding on, I'm really not very fast at all. Started with walk 5min run 1min x 5, slowly increased 2,3,4,5,8,10mins etc. I booked a 5k so that motivated me. It's really tough in the cold tho, only been once this year. Am going out tomorrow tho. Has made me much fitter tho, I notice it when out in the park with the boys etc. I love it cos it's free and def got the lbs off for me, doubt sw alone would have done it. Give it a try! Xx

Ah cute! You's are gonna have a lovely little date night at the movies :) I've never actually seen any die hard movie!

Thanks love! I have the c25k on my phone so hair going to follow it and hope for the best! I have a hen do now at the end of sept I really want to look nice for, and obv the weekend in Amsterdam. Plus Glasto. So much I want to look and feel nice for so maybe I've got as much as I can off with just diet I really need to exercise now, I am only 1st5 from target and the last bit they say is tough so maybe that's what I need (and to stick to plan properly too!)

So happy for you today, amazing stuff xx

Thanks love, it's quite surreal to compare to where I was a year ago! The doc was really impressed too which made me feel really good. Given all the crap I've gone thru, it's nice to have something really good going on. My main motivation last year was to have another baby but now I'm not so sure. Will be nice to enjoy the summer and wear lovely clothes!

You're really not too far off at all hun. I think once the weather gets a bit warmer, it'll give you more motivation to get exercising again. You did really well with swimming so you can do that again soon. You should be really proud of how far you've come! 1 stone is really doable by the summer, you can totally do it :) x x

HAA! typical!

I bet the dr was impressed indeed and so he/she should be! It's not just the weight it's your general fitness too, getting into exercise with it is fab, and will be great for the boys. They'll love having you running around with them :)

Oooo I wanna seeee! I love coats, well all clothes really. I've always wanted to wear lots of things and never really had the figure! So this is the year it's changing!

Did you enjoy last night?

Well after my 1lb gain this morning and feeling super bloated I weirdly had a huge wee and felt really un-bloated so decided to have another look at my weight 13.5lbs again! So another STS! Better than a gain! X

Last night was lovely, lit tonnes of candles and gorged on peanuts whilst Daren cooked tea lol

I got Oliver to take a pic of me in the coat, not sure if I like it anymore lol it took about 10 takes!! They had it in mustard for £6!! Was tempted to buy both :) a size 10 :-o
