Ohhh my god. Came home from work to the best meal ever. My mum made stuffing wrapped pork fillet and these roast potatoes that are cooked in chicken stock?! I can get the recipe if anybody wants it but they were so tasty!

Grapes
Savoury rice, bbq chicken, coleslaw (3 syns)

Thanks guys! They really were amazing! I'm having them again tonight lol, bit addicted. Here's the recipe my mum put on FB! :D

Parboil them for about 5 minutes or so, drain them and shake them to rough up the edges a little.. stand them up in a baking tray and pour 500 ml of stock (I used a beef oxo but guessing it would work with any cubes) around them being careful not to go over them, then spray the tops with frylite.. put them in the oven (about 180) for about 45 minutes or so until all the stock has been absorbed.. ridiculously tasty and taste like full fat naughty spuds!

Had a pretty okay food day today! Feeling motivated, just a little bit worried about weigh in but any loss is a good loss.

Extra easy:

Hifi bars x 2 (hexb)
Savoury rice with bbq chicken (2 syns)
Chicken, stuffing, gravy, veg, roasties (4 syns)
Oatly choc milk (hexa)
Berries

It's physically painful to think about how many of these diaries I have started over the last two years, but I'm praying with all my heart that this will be the last one. On the positive, I've actually joined a Slimming World class! I feel really good about it, it's a really lovely group and I was a bit embarrassed about going back, but the consultant was really encouraging. :)

Anywho, I want to lose about 5 stone, any more than that is a bonus but for now, I'm focusing on the big 5! I've broken it down into a stone at a time, and I'm going to reward myself with a new tattoo for each stone I lost. Super excited.

I think writing this all down will really help and keep me focused, and also remind myself why I am doing this and where I want to be. Here are my top 5 reasons for wanting to lose the chub:


  1. I want a face! And I mean a nicely shaped face, with a nice jawline. I've seen an amazing amount of before and afters lately, so I'm sure it's possible!
  2. I want to be confident within myself, personally, socially and in the workplace. T'would be nice to not have to worry about my weight everytime my friends ask me out to do something!
  3. I want a healthy body ready to start thinking about babies. I have PCOS, and I think it's going to be super difficult for us to have a tiny person, losing weight should hopefully help that.
  4. Clothes! Pretty clothes, in pretty stores where I don't have to worry whether or not they do my size.
  5. To make my husband (and myself) proud. I know he loves me no matter what size I am, but he's so supportive and he always puts so much faith in me. It'd be nice to actually say 'look, I did it!'.

I'll be getting weighed on Fridays, can't wait til my first one! :)

For what it's worth Emily I think you have a beautiful face. You have already achieved so much and I'm sure that you will achieve everything you want. I believe in you. Can't wait to see all 5 tattoos x :)
 
Ahhh, thank you both. It really does mean a lot to me.

It's surreal reading my posts back from the start of the year, it's been quite an emotional one. It's quite nice looking back on that knowing that I'm finally starting to achieve some of my goals... I went shopping this morning and bought a coat in a size 16, with room to spare, and I'm starting to feel more confident when my friends want to do things. It's crazy how losing a few lbs can change your life lol. I'm 1 tattoo down, just 4 to go! :)

I've had a really busy few days with work but it's all good because it's meant less time to eat bad stuff! I had my weigh in this morning and I lost 2lbs, which I'm so happy with. I'd prepped myself for a STS after my binge on Saturday but it seems to have had little effect. Hoping for another 2lb this week before I'm off to Menorca for a week!

Today's foodage:

Hifi bars x 2 (hexb)
Chicken and cheesey potato cakes (hexa + 1 syn)
Raspberries
Sweet and sour pork with egg fried rice and lots of peppers, carrots, onions, mushrooms etc

Total syns: 1

Think I'm going to have a yogurt or something later as a treat! Got a 10 syn meal planned for tomorrow so I'm trying to cut back a bit today! Hope you're all doing well and weigh ins went okay? x

Upon trying to find an appropriate emoticon I stumbled across this and have been amusing myself for the last 10 minutes with it lol... oh dear! :banana dancer:

Well, I bailed on weigh in this morning. I weigh myself at home every week before I go and I'm 99% sure I would have put on 1lb or had a STS at the very least. I haven't even been bad, but looking back on it my superfree has slightly dwindled and my 'syn bin' has been getting a bit more action than previous weeks. I've had a horribly crazy week at work and I just couldn't deal with it today! Bad, I know! I'm off on holiday tomorrow and I've had the day off work to pack and sort all of my stuff out, which has been crazy in itself. I'm going to put SW on hold until I get back next Saturday, although I'm going try my best to make healthier choices and not put on 10 stone whilst I'm there! We're in a self catering villa, so I should be able to keep it relatively healthy!

I've also been invited to a Halloween party, so that gives me 4 weeks to be super pumped up and get into the 11s by then! It's one of those parties where everyone makes an insane amount of effort with their costumes, so I need to come up with something relatively original! I'm thinking of going as the overdosed version of Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction, but if anyone has any better ideas it would be appreciated lol.

Anywho, I should go an actually finish packing! Hope you all have an utterly brilliant week and I'll be back on here Sunday! :D x
 
Hi Emily. Can't reply properly as using my phone. Thank you so much for your support. I too measurements but not until I'd already lost 2st. Since then I've lost 4 inches off my bust and waist and 4.5 from my hips. :)

I got back on Sunday & a sneak peek at the scales is looking very very bad. I'm going to skip official weigh in this week & hope I can undo some of the damage by next week lol
