Exante Vs LL?

Hi all, new to the group but am starting either LL or Exante...as soon as i've decided which one! Obviously Exante is MUCH cheaper, but my worry is does this mean the quality is not as good? Is there a reason it is so much cheaper?
I worry it is full of all different/worse additives, chemicals etc....is there a way to compare the two, or has anyone done this? Has anyone done both and found one to be better than the other? Was one more successful?

Really grateful for any comments or advice/experiences etc.

Thank you! x

I've done both and find them to be pretty much the same, depends if you want to spend more that twice as much to get the weekly meetings and counseling sessions.
Personally I found them pointless!

Basically Exante cuts out all the bumph, the counselling and the sessions. you buy what you want, when you want it, you weigh yourself.

I've never done LL but I have done Cambridge and found that I didnt like the consultants attitude towards me, she was very pessimistic and unencouraging especially towards the fact that I exercise (I'm a professional dog walker, so am out walking for anything up to 5 hrs a day).

I like Exante because i'm in control, the only person that can berate me for having an off day is ME!

Good luck :)

I did lipotrim previously, which is a pharmacy-based VLCD. I hated trailing in every week for my supply, I hated getting quizzed by a shop girl about cheating on weeks when I didn't lose 'enough' and in one case being asked to pee on a ketostix (which immediately turned dark purple, ha!) before I was 'allowed' to buy another week's supply. Exante suits me much better - miles cheaper, lots nicer and I get to pick what I get, plus it's delivered to home so saves me a trip.

I'm not bitter though. ;)

Thank you Ladies! It's payday friday and i'll be buying a months supply to get me going. Going to start monday if it's here on time. Your answers have been so helpful, thank you.
Angeluk69 you mentioned excercise....I like to run. I run about 5k twice a week....will it be okay to keep doing this or will I need to tone it down/stop?

I run too - now up to 4-5m 3 times a week. I found it harder the first time I did a VLCD, but I didn't start till I was a few weeks into it. This time I started jog/walking the day I started exante, and as long as I have a shake before I go out (or half a shake now) I'm absolutely fine. Plus I tend to hoik some salt into my soups, and drink lots more water on running days - not sure if that's a good thing or not though! Some people (Plymscuba I think?) add some protein, like chicken, on exercise days.

Good luck Vicky. Hope your pack arrives in time for a start next week, and enjoy your last few days of scoffing! :)

Hi, sorry Ive not got back sooner...admin night, plus was drooling over bake off lol. I walk everyday absolutely fine on exante, and have even started going out on the bike, I would take it easy with the running for a few weeks or maybe do working solution on the days you run?

exactly the same thing w/o the weekly weigh ins, sessions etc and twice the price
