Excersising on s&s???

An anyone advise please......?

I was wondering whether I should or shouldn't excessive while doing s&s? I've heard very mixed opinions. Obviously I'd like to tone up while losing weight!
:)

Give yourself a week then exercise as normal

Take it easy, stay hydrated and have an extra pack or protein if needed

I train no problem on plan, and plan to only increase activity to goal. Find I have plenty of energy and it keeps me out of the kitchen LOL

No need to exercise on plan if you don't choose to, but if you want to go for it

I find it destresses, relaxes me and cheers me up!

Hope this helps

Xxx

Dont think it will make any difference in that regard, many people do no exercise on VLCDs, but as my long term goal is competing, I take my training pretty seriously!! Any hardcore training you may find you cling to water - so keep hydrated and you will see good changes in your body/fitness :)

I didn't have the energy for the first week but done my normal exercise class this week and had no problems. I have also started power walking four or five times a week and that's been fine. I think it's fine to exercise once you're in ketosis as long as you listen to your body and don't go nuts!

I think I'm just wondering whether it speeds weight loss up on s&s? I have very little time for myself and would rather be doing jobs than excersising, especially if the weight loss is the same whether I excersising it not?!!

If you don't normally then don't hun, majority of people don't do anything on vlcd plans or very light things like walking or swimming

Yes sounds like a good plan, I do a fair but if walking with the dogs, pony etc already so that's ok. I used to run but feel too heavy to run at the mo :-( thanks again rebekah

It won't make the weight loss quicker - in fact in many people it slows it down (or appears to as weight reduces more slowly - but this is due to added muscle/water retention). I lost over 9 stone without exercising much. Now that I am in maintenance I am rapidly increasing the exercise (and loving it - which I never expected!).

That's what I've heard weasy so thanks for that. Will just continue the gentle excessive thought and when I'm nearer target will step it up a bit. Thanks :)
