Exercise

Hi, I've seen a few posts mentioning that too much exercise isn't recommended.

I'm on day 7 of TS 100% :D and was hoping to start including some exercise in wk2.
Was thinking maybe 30 day shred or 20 mins cross trainer (that's sitting up in my room :p)

Would this be ok? And why would exercise slow down your weight loss, as has been suggested?

im also thinking of starting excercise in week 2, a bit of jogging/pressups/situps... will keep my eye on this post and let you know if i find any helpful info
 
I think go for it if you wanna, but obviously listen to your body, and build up slowly if your doing new stuff. Iv found excercise has helped me lots as a distraction and it makes you feel amazing.

I do a Legs Bums and Tums in the living room, and have not felt depleted of energy at all. Probabaly more energetic actually.
 
Hey anything that gets you moving and floats your boat.
 
Zumba is good I have the dvd set, but sky channel 282 fitnesstv there are lots of programmes you can do. I do ladan soltani legs bums and tums (have it recorded on sky +) and do it whenever im free. It Really does deliver results its difficult but enjoyable enough.

Hi just wondered how people had got on with exercise, has it slowed anyone down? i used to go the the gym alot and sort of miss it, thinking of going and getting my stepper from dads later and doing a bit of that to tone up bum and thighs x

Hi, halfway through my 2nd week scales were only showing a 1lb loss, so started exercising (only 30 mins cardio a day) and I lost 4lbs on 2nd WI. and 2.5" around my stomach.

Been exercising every day since and 3rd WI is on Sat, so i'll let you know. Although I do feel a lot better for doing it.

So i'd say defo go ahead just don't too much starting out.
 
Ok thanks, I thought it'd be best to build myself up, I walk to uni everyday so that's 20-40 mins a day but just thinking I don't wanna be all wobbly so should do some toning exercises like use the stepper and/or do my Pilates dvd, on my 2nd day of week two and lost 5.8lb in 1st week, 27.8lb to go to get to goal :)
 
I've started using my wii fit. Its brill!!! ..I have discovered that on this diet I am full of energy and want to do stuff :)
