Exhausted & hungry

Hi there

I'm on to day 8 today

Well I am feeling hungry all the time and am so exhausted I'm finding normal daily tasks are really hard work

I have been 100% since the start

Drinking plenty of water

Really struggling literally ever waking hour :(

Is this normal has any one else had this ???

Hi Bagnallina :)

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling great. :( I know you said that you're drinking plently of water, just wondering how much you're having? 3-4 litres a day is recommended. I'm only managing 3 litres myself, which I find to be an awful lot for me. Increasing your water intake should stop you from feeling hungry (no more than 5 litres in 24 hours though). I'm on week six, day five at the moment and I sometimes feel a little more tired than usual and things can be more of a struggle too, but at the start of the diet it was much worse. I really hope you feel better soon. :)

Hey Bagnallina

Really sorry to hear you're feeling like that, I know it probably won't make you feel better but all I'm doing is thinking about why I'm doing this (to have fertility treatment) and telling myself off every time I feel weak about the whole thing. I've felt fine almost all of the time up until this evening. Feeling like I won't be able to do this for as long as I wanted and worrying about not losing enough weight each week to spur me on and keep me motivated. I'm 23, have pcos, and think its unfair that I can't just conceive naturally! Rant over. Lol. Anyway, just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon and you've done reaaaally well to get this far, a lot of people would give up after one day I'm sure :) xx

Im sorry to hear that Laura I feel for you. Me and my husband have being trying for over 5 years for a child we conceived once but miscarriaged but I'm blessed to have a 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship but my husband hasn't any. I hope all works out for you on this diet and fertility treatment. Good luck x

Thank you toddshar, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. We've been trying for about 15 months but I'm not ovulating. I'm hoping weight loss will kick start my ovaries and we won't need any treatments but not going to get my hopes up. BIG congratulations on your weight loss!! I hope I can do as well as you xx

Thank you Laura x you will get there and the time flies by I can't believe I'm on my 9th week feels like yesterday since I started LT. I started at 21st so I've got a lot of weight to lose and expecting to be in LT till Christmas.

You can have Christmas dinner to celebrate! I started at 16 stone exactly, been weighing myself every day (which I need to STOP doing) and am now 15st 6lb so it must be working. I need to get down to a minimum of 12st 6lb to "qualify" for treatment. I'm hoping it will fly by, I need to be more positive, I think I'm just having a bad day :)

That's what I was planning my mothers Christmas dinner mmmm you can't beat it lol I'm down to 17st 6.5lbs in just 8 weeks! You can do it Laura have faith in yourself and just think what your going to achieve at the end. I'm doing it cos I want to see my daughter get married and be there for my grand kids in years to come I gave up smoking 11 months ago.

Thanks Laura your words have helped me !!

And I'm drinking between 3-4 litres a day for definite

Hope once back at work tomorrow I'll be a bit better but the foods I am craving aren't what I normally eat. I'm a chocoholic you see and not bothered about that but I'm dying for a packet of crisps

Also mega worried about next weekend already me and hubby off to the olympics how am I gonna cope being up and about for 14 hours with no energy and no settee to rest on and food around me ???
