Expectations?

Hi all i am new to this and looking for some help.

I am a 5'10, 13 stone male, and i am looking to lose around 14 - 18 lbs.

Although many people may not see i am overweight feel unhappy carrying the extra weight and would like shift this as quickly as i can.

If i start Exante how quickly could i realistically get to my target weight of just under 12 stone?

one other thing i meant to ask was is possible to do this diet on havin 1 bar per day with 2 shakes as i am not so keen on the flavours of the soups??
 
thank you for your reply. i was hoping this would be achievable in around 4 or 5 weeks then hopefully i will be able to keep it off this time...
 
Males tend to lose weight much faster than females so it may be achievable. First week loss is a big spur on- keep at it and you'll be at goal in no time! Good luck!
 
Hi gc I think you'll lose that quite quickly, I'm on day 9 and lost 8.6lbs on my first week, and I understand men tend to lose it quicker.Hannah

i am hoping to lose this weight and keep it off long term now so hopefully exante will help me do this.
 
Hi I think you will lose it before 4 weeks but don't forget to have some sort of refeed plan factored in and possible slight gain when you introduce carbs back in
 
Hi if you stick to it u will lose it so quickly , im only on second week of exante lost 11lb first week i wish i had heard of this diet a long time ago! once you get past first week and the hunger pangs, second week is much easier but you will feel cold, good luck i am sure you will do it.:)
 
this is encouraging to hear. i was thinking of starting this on April 1st and doing it for the full month initially.

your feedback has given me the confindence in this that i was needing.:)
 
Oh it is so worth it, best diet i have ever been on and with quick results as long as you stick with it you will see results, my friend is doing it as well and she never sticks to diets but shes now on week 2 as well and 12lb down.
 
first month of shakes and bars just ordered.

i will be enjoying my weekend and then from Monday morning it will be a strict 4 week diet to start me off.

My goal for the first 4 weeks is to lose a minimum of 14lbs.
 
Good luck with your weight loss.

Just remember that when you come off the plan that you have to re-feed slowly or you risk gaining all the weight back again.

Most VLCD's have about a 4-8 week re-feed programme.
