today is going ok, had to be up early to go food shopping and then to a dental appointment.

2 gr butter - 1 (I measured a level tsp of butter (2 syns)in a tsp measuring spoon and then weighed it - came to 4 grams, and I only used half)

working another shift at midnight so i will have some cereal and milk then which will be my A & B for the day.

Bought loads of fruit & veg when i went shopping as well as lean meats, will pick up some fresh salmon when i go to town again on Friday

I must say getting back in the groove has been quite easy, but then I always say that if you are in the right frame of mind then half the battle is already won. I know my worse food enemy is bread, so it is banished from my diet once again, having dessert after dinner has never been an issue as i hardly ever had dessert anyway. I'm very much a savoury girl.

Wednesdays are my official weigh-in day so I'm going to stay with that.
Lost .2kg (.5lb) since Monday so I'm happy with that.

I have a couple of minutes before starting work so thought i'd start todays ramblings.
got a 10 hours shift starting in about 5 minutes, so I've got the slow cooker going with a beef casserole in - haven't used it for years so i hope it turns out OK. I work from home so i will have to restrain myself from going to lift the lid to see how its getting on.

don't know about lunch yet but probably will be soup - got a Baxters stay full tomato. chorizo and mixed bean soup that i have not tried yet, just need to pop over to the SW website to see what syns it has.

no idea on dinner either, i'm working at 4 so i'll need to decide soon. will update later
 
ok the soup is 11.5 syns!! if i like it i will be adapting the ingredients to make my own version to be lower syn - same as i did with tesco's tomato & puy lentil soup, I take the ingredients off the label, ditch the oil, sugar and any flours and see what i come up with using only the free or low syn ingredients.
 
the soup was lovely so i will get what i need tomorrow when i go shopping to make some more and also see if i can freeze some, there wasn't a whole lot of chorizo in it tho so at 9 syns for 100gr i think i can cut the syns quite a lot per portion and still have a decent amount of chorizo in it.

dinner will be a jacket spud with baked beans and LF corned beef.
it will take me over my syns for the day but pffft i don't care, its quite a healthy dinner.
 
hello losers/maintainers/gainers

day off work today - well until midnight so i have been trying to finish my Xmas shopping. met my lovely daughter at lunchtime and we went for lunch - a Christmas dinner lol - no pudding tho - we also had a hot chocolate later in the afternoon.

I made some of the tomato chorizo soup when i got home and i must say its very nice and i have worked it to be 1.2 syns per portion, used 80 gr chorizo and all other ingredients are free, made enough for 6 portions.

Its weigh-in day and I am down 2kg (4lb 6oz)from last Weds which I am really pleased with.

Well, here we are again, time to knuckle down and start again. I'm pleased that I am the same weight as I was on 28th November 2011 and that Christmas did not do too much damage.

This week will be back to basics to get my head around SW again and hopefully my daughter will knuckle down with me.
