Please someone help me, my body just doesnt want to lose weight anymore.

Ive been on slimfast since January and have managed to lose 10lbs to add on top on what ive already lost. I would love to lose another 1st 4lbs by July, which theoretically should be a very easy but my body doesnt want to play ball.


I stick within calorie limits (if i cant have a slim fast bar/shake for any reason I have food that adds up to the calories they are), and I dont go over. I thought I would mix things up, do some extra exercise mix the diet up and nothing. Seems my body wants to put on weight and not lose it. Its driving me mad.

Any advice, please? xx
 
I have gone through the same thing started off at 178.6lbs on January 1st, struggled my weigh down to 173.4lbs over the next few months then stayed the same up until 3 weeks ago and now it's finally shifting! Didn't think I would ever get under the 170lb mark but managed it eventually.

This week it's falling off me, set to 1400kcal a day for a 1lb weekly loss but already this week have lost over 3lbs! Last week lost a couple of lbs to. Weightloss sometimes makes no sense!!

All I can say is keep doing what your doing, if your sure everything is set up correctly, your counting all your calories, have all your info inputted correctly, on the right amount of calories etc then it looks, like me, that you just have to be patient!

You say your exercising, are you eating those calories back or at least half of them?

Are you using a tracking website to log all your calories?

Last time round I lost 47lbs over 18 months calorie counting, but was exercising too and it came off pretty steadily, this time round it's been a nightmare, no exercise tho due to back injury so relying on calorie counting alone.

I know it's frustrating been there, worn the t-shirt!
