Just wanted a bit of advice really, Me & Keith are now starting to get the ball in motion to get a house together, We are 1st time buyers so just wanted to ask if any of you have any tips or advice when we go to view houses,

What questions should we be asking?

What questions should be be asking mortgage advisor??

Hey huney, best thing to do babe is go onto money supermarket, there are experts on there who will push you in the right direction.

Def a great time to buy cos so many properties are sticking on the market but def get your figures ship shape cos you don't wanna borrow more than you absolutely need. Gone are the days of 100%+ mortgages.

We're buying for the first time too and its scary! We're buying on a shared equity basis where we buy 75% of the property and give Persimmon who we're buying off their 25% when we sell. We dont need a deposit which we dont have so this was only way we could do it.

Right, well we have the deposit, good time to buy at the moment, so your mortgage will be a lot less then will it as your only buying 75%??
