First timer!

I'm on day 4, yesterday I was getting awful cramps during swimming in my feet and then for much of the next few hours throughout my legs, eased off completely today. But on the other hand I have done no exercise at all today, fearing the cramps would return. Will do a walk tomorrow see what happens then!
 
I'm relieved it's a common complaint and not just me, why does it have to be so painful?! I've woken up my OH a couple times now with my shouting haha

I'll try adding a bit of salt to something if it gets any worse - Thanks Kate! :)
 
Anyone else had this burning/dull ache between the shoulder blades as well?

Its annoying!
Think it's acid reflux, is it common in first week?

I had that with gall stones, would come and go but in the end got so bad I was doubled over in pain - not saying you have this, but even tho I've had my gall bladder removed, I still get the aches from time to time, ESP when my tummy is empty. It's caused by too much acid, or bile, and its a side effect of overheating. It's passing as I lose weight (18lb so far) so I wonder if my stomach (which is anatomically a lot higher than we tend to think) is still reacting to the changes it's suddenly going through???

A hot water bottle works wonders, and rocking (!) back n forth. Hope it passes soon. xxx

Oh I've had the gallstone thing before when I was on Cambridge. I stopped Cambridge as advised but it still carried on, turned out my contraceptive pill was doing it!!!

So thankfully I know the symptoms (and the agony!) and that my gallstones are no bigger than a grain of sand :D

I do suffer from acid reflux so it's probably excess acid. I'm not in pain it's just an uncomfortable sensation that keeps coming and going.

I'm doing shakes only at the minute, so I've bought some bars and carbonara. Maybe a bit of stodge will help!!!
 
So you know how horrible it is, gall stones are way underestimated! Hope your pains go away soon. I still have heartburn from time to time but its getting less frequent, thank goodness.

Thats terrific, well done! Resistance does get easier - I walked past my favourite hot dog stand in Cambridge yesterday, and that's the whole point - I walked right past it! Was only after the fact that I realised I wasn't even bothered! Hope this is the start of a healthier relationship to food :)

Hi! I don't think I am as I've had to take some cold and flu syrup as I have been so ill, but I haven't felt hungry. Been in bed most of the weekend :(

But I haven't cracked but then I haven't kept my fluids up either!

So we shall see! What a time to get ill!

Sorry to hear you're ill. A lot of people seem to have had heavy colds recently. I hope you get better soon. You need to concentrate on getting well again first, then focus on the diet.
 
I feel awful!! I had real food last night I felt so drained, only a chicken salad and some garlic bread. Felt a lot better for it though!!!

Tried the pasta carbonara meal tonight, SO TASTY!!!

How's everyone else been?
