first weekly weigh in

hi, im new but have been reading the forum for a while. ive been on xenical for a week now and have lost 6lbs. i haven't had any side effects at all and have been sticking to the fat rules. the only thing is i should be over the moon at weight loss and i am pleased but i feel like i cant see myself if i lost weight. has anyone else felt like this?

Welcome janeausten to the forum and well done on your weight loss.:happy096:

It can be very difficult to see the weight loss in the first few weeks...this is where before and now photos come in handy as you are more inclined to see the difference in monthly photos as you go along.

Body measurements are also a big help, as often on those weeks when you stay the same weight you might find it is the very week you have come down in inches.

Hi, Jane and welcome. Well done on your weight loss so far, you're doing really well. I found it took till I had lost at least a stone and my clothes were starting to get too big etc before I felt I was actually getting anywhere. Keep up the good work and you'll soon see and feel the difference.
