Hello,
Thanks for stopping by my food diary.

I am going to be a bridemaid for my best friend on 27th July 2012 and i am determined to not be the 'fat friend', next to her tiny size 10 figure! So thats my motivation.

I have been struggling with Extra Easy, so will probably try greens and throw in a few EE days here and there. Please feel free to comment good or bad as my losses are REALLY low at the moment!:(

So starting today:

Wed 25 Jan - Green Day

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana

Mid morning Snack: Mullerlight strawberry

Lunch - i forgot my lunch! luckily i had a tin of heinz spaghetti bolognese (2.5 syns) in my desk drawer. With a pear, apple and mullerlight banana and custard.

Dinner - Beef Casserole - stewing steak (HeB), lots of casserole veg, tinned tomatoes, 2 oxo cubes, gravy granuals to thicken (3 syns). Served with boiled potatoes and brocolli.

Drinks: Water and Diet Coke.

Post gym snack - Mixed berries with a raspberry and cranberry mullerlight yogurt.

Syns total: 5.5 syns

Exercise: I have my gym induction tonight so will have that and then a work out at the gym. Wish me luck i haven't been to the gym in about 5 years! :eek:

Well the gym went well, we did our induction and then a 30minute work out, tonight we have a zumba class so i am really hoping the exercise will help boost the weight loss.

On to todays food diary:

Thursday 26 Jan - Green Day

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana

Morning Snack - Cherry Mullerlight

L - Salad (lettuce, carrot, sweetcorn, cucumber, red onion and cherry tomatoes) with cold pasta. Light Salad Cream (3syns)

D - probably spaghetti bolognese (E.L Mince - HeB), peppers, onions, mushrooms, passata and a couple of stock cubes. Probably have a HeA of cheese on top too.

After Zumba - Mullerlight chocolate with black cherry underlayer (i LOVE these ones!) 1.5syns
Drinks - Water, diet coke and NAS Squash.

Syns total: 4.5 syns (hmm perhaps not enough syns).

Exercise - 1 hour of Zumba.

Friday 27 Jan - Green Day

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana

Morning Snack - Vanilla with chocolate sprinkles Mullerlight

L - Jacket potato, baked beans and sweetcorn.

Snacks - (i am definitely having a hungry day today!) coconut mullerlight and 2 oranges.

D - Gammon, SW chips, 'fried' egg, peas, and tinned tomatoes i think. Probably a couple of syns worth of ketchup (2syns).

Drinks - Water and diet fizzy drinks.

Exercise - today is my rest day.
 
Sorry i didn't get on over the weekend, so here is my weekend catch up diary.

Saturday 28 January - Extra Easy Day
started green but carvery would have been over HEb meat allowance, so assuming i can use a EE day here (?)

B - 2 x weetabix (HeB) with ss milk (HeA) and sweetener

L - scrambled eggs (with dash of milk and water), baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. 1syn of Ketchup.

Snacks - coconut mullerlight.

D - Toby Carvery - gammon, 1 roast potato, tons of veg and gravy. (I am allowing all of my 14 syns for this - even though i don't think it would have come close to that!) No pudding - thank god for the SW Syns app - i hyad convinced myself i could have a plan ice cream - then checked and it was 20.5!!! yes 20.5 syns! I promptly changed my mind!

Drinks - Water, NAS Squash and diet coke.

Syns total - 15 syns (if that!)
Exercise - 1 hour in the gym, 10 lengths of the swimming pool (very lame - but i killed my arms in the gym and they just did not want to swim!)


Sunday 29 January - EE Day

Brunch - 2 x 'fried' eggs, bacon - all fat removed, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms. 2 syns ketchup.

Snacks - banana custard mullerlight

D - roast chicken breast, SW roast potatoes, parsnip and sweetpotato, red cabbage, broccoli, peas and gravy made with chicken stock and 3 syns of gravy granuals to thicken (i LOVE thick gravy with roast chicken!)

Drinks - diet fizzy drinks and NAS Squash.

Extras - cake mix (it entered my mouth without thinking while making my mum a birthday cake! i'll say 10syns to be safe!)

Syns Total - 15 syns

Exercise - None today unless you count shopping at sainsburys and carrying the shopping up 2 flights of stairs!
 
Monday 30 January - Green Day
*happy birthday to my mum!*

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana

Morning Snack - Strawberry Mullerlight

L - Jacket potato, baked beans and lettuce, red cabbage, carrot and cucumber. 2 syns Light salad cream.

Snacks - mullerlight and an orange.

D - SW Cottage Pie (3 syns for gravy granuels to thicken) with green beans.

Birthday Cake - A SW swiss roll (spongey cake with quark and yogurt (i think) and raspberries inside) made by my mum. Aparently 1 syn for the whole cake and i had a slice so 1/2 syn maybe?

Drinks - Water and diet fizzy drinks.

Snacks - 1 malteser, 1 big chocolate button and 1 jelly tot (they jumped in to my mouth while i was decorating the birthday cake!) 3 syns

Syns Total - 8.5 syns.

Exercise - none today as over to my mums for birthday celebrations.

Tuesday 31 January - Green Day
It's WEIGH DAY! I am hoping for a loss tonight as i think i have been really good!

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana

Morning Snack - Banana and Custard Mullerlight

Pre-lunch snack - Chicken Noodle Mug Shot
(i am so hungry today, it's either the cold weather or the fact everyone is talking food in the office this morning!)

L - Uncle Bens Express rice - savoury chicken flavour (2.5 syns) Cherry Tomatoes and cucumber......i had lettuce, pepper and red cabbage as well but they really didn't appeal so i picked my way around them!

Snack - Orange, Mullerlight chocolate orange, hi-fi light bar (3syns)

Dinner - Chicken (HeB), pasta, peppers, onions, mushrooms, with a carbonara sauce (milk HeA) 4 syns.
Pudding - Chocolate Orange hi-fi bar (6 syns)

Drinks - water and diet coke.

Syns Total - 9.5

Exercise - none planned, was going to go for a walk at lunch but it is SO cold out there i think i might skip that and stay warm instead!

YAY! i lost 3lbs this week - Green days + exercise seem to be the way forward :)

Wednesday 1 February - Green Day
B - Scotts Porrage Oats (30g sachet) made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a mullerlight rhubarb

Morning Snack - Chicken noodle mug shot

L - Jacket Potato with baked beans.

Dinner - Spaghetti bolognese (E.L mince (Heb + 6Syns), Passata, mushrooms, onion, pepper, 3 oxo stock cubes), served with pasta and a small amount of cheese (HeA). Going to allow an extra 6 syns as i know i had more of the mince than i should have but i was so hungry!)

Post Gym Snack - tropical fresh fruit salad with S.F Rasberry jelly (1syn)

Drinks - water and diet coke.

Syns Total - 7 syns

Exercise - Gym session at 8pm with my friend - 50mins of cardio (25 mins treadmill, 20mins cross trainer, 5 minutes on the bike).

Thursday 2 February - Green Day

Gosh my week day breakfasts are getting so boring! I must try and find something else i can alternate in for a bit of variety!

Snack - mugshot (minestrone)

L - Ravioli (Tinned) (3.5 syns) and Coconut mullerlight.

Snack - 21g bag of really cheesy wotsits (5.5 syns), an apple and an orange.

D - left over chicken (HeB) with onion, peppers, mushrooms with a carbonara sauce (3syns + HeA).

After Gym Snack - Mixed berries with a mullerlight vanilla yogurt on top. Left over slice of SW Swiss roll (1/2 syn)

Drinks - Water and Diet Coke

Syns Total - 12.5 syns

Exercise - Legs, Bums and Tums class for 45mins - KILLER! haha. we were meant to do Zumba after but there was a problem with the sound system so we ended up going to the gym for 30mins of cardio instead.

Friday 3 February - Green Day

B - Scotts Porrage Oats (30g sachet) made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a mullerlight strawberry

Snack - mugshot (minestrone)

L - Jacket potato with baked beans and cheese (HeA) and an orange.

Snack - a coconut mullerlight.

D - Pork loin (HeB), cooked in chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions. Served with potato and sweet potato wedges and mixed veg.

Had a wedding evening with my friend - trying hair styles and watching wedding DVDs! We were incredibly good and drank diet lemonade and snacked on cucumber and carrot sticks with salsa!

Drinks - Water and Diet Coke and diet lemonade

Syns Total - 0 syns! Really? i didn't feel deprived. Guess thats not the best thing to not have any.

Exercise - Rest day today.

Well done on the weight loss chick. Ive not been doing it long, too. Your diary seems really good. Im sure you'll look great on your friends wedding day.

My friend gets married in August, so thats my motivation too. Want to bee comfortable in a nice dress.

I'm signed up to the gym too, i had never been before. Was so nervous before i went. I only thought i was going to last 5 mins. But made an hour lol. So proud of my self.

It's amazing how much motivation comes when a wedding is going on...i'm pleased i have the motivation as it is keeping me on-track.
I am sure you will look fab for your friends wedding too :)

I was really nervous about the gym too - but once i went and have attended a few classes i have realised that no-one really cares what you are doing, and the classes have such mixed ability i never feel like the only one who hasn't got a clue what is going on! haha. The first gym session i thought i wouldn't be able to last on machines - particularly the cross trainer, but i managed 20mins!

Hope you've had a fab weekend :) and well done with your losses so far :)
 
Saturday 4 February - Green Day

B - 2 weetabix with ss milk (HeB & HeA)

L - SW Chips, Eggs and Beans.

Snack - a rhubarb mullerlight

D - E.L Mince (heB), sweetcorn and peas, served with rice. (3 syns for thickening in mince).

Snacks - Hi-Fi Light bar (3syns), a chewy drumstick (2syns - estimate as couldn't find it on the syns app!)

Drinks - Water, NAS Squash, Diet Coke

Syns Total - 8 syns

Exercise - 45 mins of Zumba, 20mins of resistance in the gym, and 12 lengths of the swimming pool.
 
Sunday 5 February - Extra Easy

B - 2 Weetabix with sliced banana & ss milk (HeB and HeA)

L - 2 Sainsburys BGTY cumberland sausages (1syn), 2 rashers of bacon (fat removed), scrambled egg (rest of HeA), mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans.

D - Roast Lamb, SW roast potatoes, parsnips, red cabbage, carrots and broccoli. Gravy made with granuels (3syns) and a small amount of meat juices (3syns).

Pudding - Slice of Slimming World Cheesecake (5 syns) with mixed summer fruit berries.

Drinks - NAS Squash and Diet Coke

Syns Total - 12 syns

Exercise - a walk in the snow this morning - but not really classing as proper exercise as i was stopping to take photos.
 
Monday 6 February - Green Day

B - Scotts Porrage Oats (30g sachet) made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a mullerlight raspberry and cranberry

Snack - mugshot (tomato pasta) and a banana

L - Jacket potato with baked beans and an apple.

D - Chicken Stir-Fry. small chicken breast (HeB), mixed stir fry veg with noodles (dry). Sharwood black bean sauce (1/2 jar - 3.5 syns).

Pudding - SW Cheesecake (5.5 syns) with mixed berries.

Snacks - 1 x white mice sweet (2 syns) 1 x fruit salad chew (teeny one) 1 syn.

Drinks - Water, NAS Squash and Diet Coke

Syns Total - 12 syns

Exercise - I have a total toning class tonight - i think i am going to hurt afterwards though it sounds like a killer!

Tuesday 6 February - Extra Easy Day

Snack - Rhubarb mullerlight

L - Chicken breast, pasta, cucumber, tomatoes and carrot sticks. LF Salad Cream (3syns)

D - Lamb casserole, left over roast lamb, casserole veg, 1/2 tin of heinz veg soup (4.5 syns), gravy granuels to thicken (2 syns)

Snacks - 2 x white mice sweet (4 syns) 2 x fruit salad chew (teeny ones) 2 syns.

Drinks - Water, NAS Squash and Diet Coke

Syns Total - 15.5 syns (ooops a teeny bit over but it's weigh day today)

Exercise - A brisk walk (too cold to walk slowly!) in to town at lunch and back - so about 45mins of walking.
 
Weigh day update - well i maintained this week, but it is my * week and i feel really bloated, so although a bit disapointed as i have really tried, i hope that it's just water weight and i'll see a nice loss next week!
 
Wed 8 February - Extra Easy

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a banana and a banana and custard mullerlight.

I seem to have having a hungry day today! so i expect lots of snacking.

Mid morning Snack: apple

Lunch - Jacket potato with baked beans, followed by an orange and a toffee mullerlight.

Snack - My mum made a SW Quiche with Pasta and Sauce, we worked it out to be about 1 syn a bit, so i had a bit with some baked beans while my nieces and nephews tucked in to fish fingers, smiley faces and beans! (1 syn)

Dinner - Chicken Breast with bacon, new potatoes, and lots of mixed veg. With gravy (2 syns)

Pudding - SW Citrus Cheesecake (4.5 syns) with passionfruit.

Drinks: Water and Diet Coke. Options chocolate orange drink with water and a splash of milk (rest of HeA from breakfast as i don't use it all for my porridge) 1.5 syns.

Syns total: 9 syns

Exercise: Nothing today as i am over to my mums, and i certainly cannot do a walk a lunch time it's sooooo cold out there! brrrr! I've got 2 classes tomorrow so hopefully that will make up for a sedate day today!

Exercise: brisk walk in to town at lunch and round the shops. Legs, Bums and Tums (45mins) followed by Zumba (45 mins).

B - Oats so simple made with ss milk (HeA and HeB), sweetener and a Cherry Mullerlight

Mid morning Snack: Banana and a tomato mug shot.

Lunch - SW Pasta quiche (1 syn), lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, carrot battons, LF Salad Cream (3 syns)

Dinner - Gammon (HeB), SW Chips, baked beans, mixed veg and an egg. LF Salad Cream (2syns)

Drinks: Water and Diet Coke.

Snacks - a teeny teeny slither of chocolate cake (5syns? thats possibly an over estimate as it really was a teeny teeny slither but better safe than sorry!) and a tiny amount of champagne bucks fizz (3.5), it was my colleagues 50th birthday so we had a little office party.

Syns total: 14.5 syns

Exercise: errr naff all! lazy day! haha

Saturday 11 Feb - Extra Easy Day

B - 2 weetabix with ss milk (HeA and HeB), with a banana

After gym snack - Vanilla mullerlight

Lunch - Pasta, passata, tinned tomatoes, peppers, onion, mushrooms, gammon, a small amount of cheese (3syns)

Dinner - pork loins with mashed potatoes (2 syns for some low fat spread), mixed veg and gravy (2syns)

Pudding - Mullerlight - Banana and custard

Drinks: Water and Diet Coke.

Syns total: 7 syns so far, will update.

Exercise: 45 mins of Zumba
