Frances' PP Diary

Not doing great today at all.. Not eaten a morsel..
Myself and Jonathan have an appointment with the bank today to talk mortgages... :eek:
If it was him alone we'd sail thru but i'm a girl and like to spend rather than save so I have loans... n not much savings if i'm honest.. So am banking on them looking at my repayment history.. I've always had my loans with them so they have complete access and will see that i've never ever been late with or missed a payment EVER..That along with a constant income over the last 13/14 years with not a single break.. Hopefully these will stand to me.. And Jonathan has huge savings, a good income and a good credit history.. Plus.. We're not looking for a HUGE mortgage so fingers n toes n anything else possible is crossed..

It sounds good but I understand why you're worried - they seem so hard on people trying to get a mortgage now. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Try to eat something if you can xx

Hey hun.. Yea fingers n toes crossed til we hear back.. She said she'd be puttin in the app either yesterday or today and it takes 3 - 5 working days so we should know either way next week..
And sure if we don't get it at least we'll know what the next step that we'v to take is.. She seems positive enough..
We were elligible to apply for 285k but we're not looking to borrow even near that so fingers crossed..
Yea we've been looking on myhome and daft the last while.. Jonathan's addicted to it.. Dunno what he's gona do when we'v bought somewhere ha.. Don't have any particular house in mind as yet.. I don't want to get too into it until I know we have the loan.. Dont want to set myself up for a fall..

Weeks not been great so far but have eating crap within my allowance.. Will add my last few days diaries when i get a minute.. Am swamped in here so it'll probably be weeks diaries added on one day..

How are you? Feeling any better? x
 
My fella wants us to live together soon. I'm putting it off at the mo because my job pays very bad and I might have to look for another one if they don't buck up. We'd just be renting for a while though. He earns alright money so we should be good. Has Jono had any luck on the job front, you were saying he was finished where he was working?
My week has been some bold eating too. I made mars bar squares yesterday and dread to think the pp value of them :p
I'm actually signed off sick at the mo as doctor reckons I'm not well enough. Had to get a different medication too. But I'm feeling positive about getting better soon. Might go for a walk with the dog instead of moping around the house all day. Gotta make an effort.
Hope work settles down, just a busy day or are you in for a week of it now!? X

I'd have preferred renting for a short period before buying together TBH..
They say you don't really know someone until you've lived with them!! But Jonathan refuses to rent.. All he see's is the waste of money and paying off someone's mortgage for them.. Not the money we'd save on solicitors tryna buy each other out etc if it all goes belly up and we realise we can't stand to live together!!!
I think we'll be fine tho.. He's very clean n tidy for a bloke..
Hopefully will soon find out lol..

Glad you've been given new meds.. hopefully these suit n get u well..
Defo try and get out n about n don't sit in thinking..

So far my week has consisted of mcdonalds... Within my allowance.. And lasagne yesterday.. Didn't eat until about 4pm yesterday tho so although was within allowance, probably way under... that's not good.. I was starving when I had it.. Then stuffed for the night!! I had a few pieces of fruit n that to try up my F&V intake for the day to limit damage.. And I drank at least 2lt's of water... So not all bad i s'pose..
TOTM starts this weekend so not very hopeful for Saturday.. Regardless of what I eat.. Will see.. :)

Couldn't you get a 6 month lease before comitting to a mortgage? Its obviously a waste of money but worth it in the long run? Ive learnt soo much about cost of living etc whilst renting. Ive always said a mortgage is practically a marriage. Haha. Xxxxxxx

Ha ha... I can b a bit like that sometimes but 90% of the time I'm defo a Monica... Ha ha

Been SOOOO busy in work all week not had a minute. Playing catch up now too so the weeks gona finish busy as it started no doubt.

No hun it'll b next week before we hear anything. She said she'd n only inputting it yesterday n it takes 3-5 working days. So we should kno either way next week... Keeping EVERYTHING crossed til then x
 
I'm ok, I'm gonna be out of action on the exercise front tho which is drastic. I had a slight accident tonight Mr M knocked me over with my van whilst I was strapping my little girl in. I'm ok, coulda been worse I'm just so sore and bruised down one side:( I'm more upset about not being able to go to the gym tonight!

I'm still not sure I'm eating enough, I've still got 30 odd weeklies left and although I'm not WI Friday my weeklies will start again Friday.
