Freezing tetra packs?

i mixed my choc mint with fizzy water and froze it and it turned out lovely.... you have to get it out of freezer half hour before you want it though.

usually you consume the products once made up within 15 minutes to ensure you get the best nutritional value from it

Doesn't apply to frozen I think - you've frozen the nutrients in place.

Which is why I think freezing is ok anyway. I used to do LL whose stance was yes to freezing (just freezes nutrients) and no to cooking (which destroys nutrients).

BTW the way I know lots of CDCs who freeze packs

Hi all
well ive frozen my chocolate tetra for three hours i have left it out for an hour to thaw - its not that gorgeous - is it supposed to be still icey and crunchy - i thought it would be smoother - quite dissapointed - have i not thawed it for long enough - help!!

Mine was smooth, although I wasn't overly impressed with the taste of the chocolate one. I didn't time how long I left mine out tbh.

Is your freezer set quite high?
