From here to Eternally Slim

Woo hoo!!! lost 2.5lb.....got my 3 stone award-lost 3 stone 0.5lb altogether- and just 7lb left to go until target!!!! bring it on!!!!!

so chuffed as it took me into the 9's!!! 9 stone 13lb now :)

pesty and mlm i hope you've both done it...cant wait to hear!

ef i hope you have a fab holiday hun-you deserve it!!

I lost 3lb :D

So I am now 12st 11 and most definitely IN THE TWELVES! This also means I am in the 170s as far as lbs go AND I have lost exactly 90lb since January.

4lb to go to target, 2 weeks to wedding anniversary... Its going to be close...

Thank you pesty - it was a shock but is slowly sinking in - told the parents yesterday - they are fine with it all - my neice keeps asking when the new baby is arriving - have told her it will be a very long time yet and not till after her birthday (in arpil)

Lurverick - many congrats hun on the 3stone shiny and on getting into the 9's - the stone markers all mean so much to all of us :)

I fell on some more things in Sainsburys today. They are selling off all their summer clothes super cheap and I got three really nice tops with those handkerchief hemlines for about £3 each. IN A SIZE 14!!! :D
 
I fell into some stuff in the Next Clearance shop at the weekend. 3 dresses for £12 each. Size 16. Go me!!
They are actually wearable, though *slightly* on the tight side. They'll do for work, which is good, as I'm getting fed up with wading through trousers that won't stay up, and just have folds and folds of material bunching up everywhere. Oh, it's definitely a good feeling that they're too big. But the actual too big feeling isn't quite so pleasant.
 
Meant to say - unfortunately, what I was actually looking for was something suitable for D-Step-D's wedding next month. Still haven't found anything. A month ago that would have been a good thing, as buying too early when you're shrinking isn't helpful, but with only 3 weeks to go, I'm sure I won't be a whole size different by D-Day. I just have no inspiration though, cos styles which used to be flattering now aren't, and I don't know what works for me at my current size! (And I don't want to spend tons, as (I hope) it won't fit me for long, so I won't get much benefit from it.

Suggestions, anyone?
 
try looking on ebay, they have some fab dresses on there at the moment, i'm getting mine from there for the slimming world ball in november ...

had a couple of bad weeks so haven't felt like being around, onwards and downwards for me now i hope so should be around a little more. i'm trying a green day today see if a shake up is what my body needs
 
Well done MLM and Luverick brilliant results!!!

Im afraid ive let the team down as I gained 0.5 this week so im not in the 10's :( its very dissapointing as ive worked out every day and stayed within syns but im putting it down to fluid retention so hopefully it'll be off next week!!

Rosie, its hard for kids to understand how long it'll take! If only it was a 1 week process lol xx

Oh I'm so sorry for your gain, Pesty, specially when you'd been so good. I know - it happened to me last week. It probably is water retention from the extra exercising, but still you feel gutted, because you've worked hard so you deserve to do well. I'm sure it'll be off next week. (If mine's not off tonight I'll do some SERIOUS grumping!)
 
Oh, and for a little suspense, I know how the Veganess got on, she went to an early WI today - but Im not telling you how she did....

Thanks, both of you. I know you can get good stuff there, and I've bought from there in the past. But I don't really know well enough what size I am on what brand at the moment, so I'm nervous about getting something for a big occasion that I can't try on first.

The only thing I've got that is at all possible for this wedding is an ebay purchase. But it's a little bit tight on the bust, and a little bit rucked up (as if slightly too big, or just slightly the wrong shape) at the back. It's not a bad fit, and for a November wedding it would need something on top anyway, and coincidentally I've got a jackety-cardiganny thing that I bought for a funeral that would go fine with it. But I don't think I'd feel comfortable enough in it to feel good about myself. And trust me, that day, I will need to maximise my self-confidence, as it's going to get plenty of knocks just from the circumstances. It's not going to be the easiest of days.

So, more deliberation needed, methinks.
