From here to Eternally Slim

Good evening :)

Sorry to those expecting a WI text, I was a bit busy so didnt get chance. 3lb on this week, which is really over 2 weeks, since I didnt go last week, and I am happy with that, because yesterdays sneaky peek was WAY worse than that.

However, that puts me a mere half lb to being out of target range, so I MUST be good this week and really stick to it. Am having a scan bran and fish week, and minimal syns, except for Sunday where we will be at Minx-in-Laws for the annual christmas lights on extravaganza. Will just have to be a bit careful with my choices there, but most of the stuff will have syns so will probably end up not eating much.

Have a bit of a cold at the moment too. If I feel better in the morning I am going to restart my Jillian efforts, if not, I will wait till I do.

Hope everyone who WI today did better than me :)
 
Well done for getting back in control, Minxster. You're still in target range - which must be an AMAZING feeling. I can't wait! I'm sure with fish and the delightful scanbran you'll be back to target in no time.

Morning everyone

Took me 1.5 hours to get into work today (usually 15 min drive), then fell over as i got out of the car and smashed my container of soup :(. So gonna have to brave it and walk to get lunch later, doubt it will now be as healthy.

MLM, you know yourself that 3lb will be off in no time, once you put your mind to it honey.

MLM, sorry about the gain hun, but a massive well done for staying in target range and getting back into it!

I lost 1.5 last night which takes me 4.5 away from target!! I was sooooo pleased :)

EF, sorry you fell over and lost you soup huni!! Last night BEFORE all the snow, i got off the bus, walked down a dark alley, fell over a mini fence and into a bush!! 2 people we walking behind me too!! It wasnt even slippery, i think someone moved the path lol

Apart from hurting my pride i was alright lol

I can feel myself getting closer to target :D I wont be upset if i dont get there by xmas but that is what im aiming for.

I may move it anyway once i get there lol xx

I won't be going to WI tonight, it's a 30 minute train journey to my class and I'm worried the snow will make London transport go all rubbish again.

Yay! I lost 4lbs this fortnight!!

That gives me what I'd targeted myself for in November (8lbs). It makes me 3lbs away (and 3 weeks away) from my hoped-for Christmas mini-target - which really should be achievable now, and leaves me just 1lb away from that lovely 4st shiny!

So I'm quite a happy Jim tonight. Go me!
 
Well done Sarah... thats fantastic. Some really good results already this week. Im trying my hardest to maintain, with 2 nights out will be hard.

Sorry Ive not been about....been reallly busy trying to get sorted for the hol, having to cancel all hosp appts that I had this week too as I just cant get there in this (both hosps I need to go to are 1 1/2 drive each way on a good weather drive)

I also cant go to WI tomorro either :sigh::mad: this stupid white stuff has me a prisoner, our car (MX5) hates the snow and I dont think my friends will make it up the hill either to pick me up....or to the hall where the class is, I can see that road from here as Im at the top of the valley and all the cars are turning round or sliding back :eek: couple that with my stupid walking and its not gonna happen :rolleyes::eek: soooo 1st 13.5 before my Hols - and I'l work towards the 2 st shiney when I get home :)

Anyhoo off to start some tea in the hope that OH makes it home sometime soon, weve had it really bad again today- my son text me & said he had to abandon his car halfway home & walk the rest of the way :eek: Im getting quite worried now about getting to the airport late sun night/early mon morn:confused:
 
Helloooooo!

Loads of appointments and nonsense this week. I HATE appointments for stuff. They make me have little sleep and be all anxious.

I really am a wuss.

Anyway, foodwise am TOTALLY on plan this week, and have had my scan bran for lunch every day. I cant face a total fish week (or afford one) so Scan Bran will have to do its magic instead. Havent gone above ten syns any day so far - in fact, over yesterday and the day before I only had 14. Win.

Todays nutritious scan bran based treat will be laughing cow based. Yesterday it was going to be ham and pickled beetroot, but after the first mouthful where I realised I couldnt actually taste the ham, I decided to take the ham back off and just eat the scan bran with the beetroot on, and then have a mouthful of ham as a treat after each scan bran. The ham was extra nice, see, so it was spoiling it.

I might have cherry tomatoes sliced on the top of the laughing cow based scanny branny today for a bit of moisture. I wont be eating them till about 3.30 though coz I have to go to school this afternoon for the last week of the course.

Well done on the scanbran. It really is so delicious, isn't it?

I will be having some today too: I've got soup (leek & bean, so nice and speedy) and will have my last Spanish pseudo-laughing cow, and Philly light after that, on my last few scanbrans.

Then I'll need a trip out to H&B in the cold & ice, to get some more.

Next week will be a superspeed soup and scanbran fest! Yum. Can't wait. But I've got one of my two office Christmas dos next Friday, so I need to be excellent for the rest of the week.

Nice to see you on here, anyway. It's been horribly quiet.

And thank you: I was quite happy with that result!
 
Well done staying on plan Minxy. I like to put sliced tomatoes on my scanbran when I have it with pate and stuff, makes it that much easier to swallow :D

CD, not long now till Mexico, really hope the snow clears for you before then.

Well done Minxy with the scan bran, I just can not get my head back into gear to loose, so am trying hard to maintain with all of the nights out planned. Next week is a free'ish week, only one night out planned, so really gonna be good and stay focussed. Might lead me to loosing for the week at least.

Minxy and Sarah.. Speed soups and scan bran..I need to get some speed soups ready, I have a butternut and carrot one frozen, but will do some more and bring them into work with some scan bran, I've got 2 packs of SC in my breadbin, so thats an idea for speed loss for next week.

Took me so long to get out of the drive this morning, and the roads were really dangerous, but ive no choice but to get into work, with their policy on this weather means we don't get paid if we don't turn up!! Was supposed to have been going out tonight into the City for drinks and a meal with friends, but one of my friends is in Kent and the train service is more or less nothing, and then the other city trains are closing the lines earlier so if some of us got up there, it might mean not getting back. So gonna put the eve to good use and clear some cupboards and a bookshelf rather then sit in front of TV all night.

Right back to work for half hour and then to brave the drive back :(
