My car is now fixed and im walking to pick it up after work, im then going straight to homebase to do some furniture shopping ready for the day that our application goes through and we get our flat!!

Moomin - glad to see you back - 2lbs gain isn't so bad - my sister had a 9.5lb gain when she was away for a week! You will lose any gain by next week once you're back on plan

MLM and pesty - good luck for WI tonight - and anyone else who is weighing in tonight or tomorrow.

I'm off to plan my week to make sure that I lose next week :)
 
HELLO!!!

Good news! STICKER!!! - 2 1/2 stone of green goodness. EVEN BETTER NEWS! - 4lb gone!!! Given that I started last week with a post holiday 6lb gain, this is nothing short of remarkable. EVEN MORE EXCITING NEWS THAN THAT!!! BMI says 25-something!!! AND FINALLY! IM IN THE THIRTEENS!!!!

God I love fish weeks.

OK. So, the ten week challenge starts now. I need to lose 1 stone and 6lb to get to target. Thats an average of 2lb per week to make it by Oct 25th which is the last weigh in before the wedding anniversary/birthday, which is the 26th.

I dont think I have ever been more focussed than I am right now. I am fully prepared for some STS, or a plateau to hit, and I have the tools to overcome it if I do, (thanks to fish week and scan bran week!).

I refuse to be beaten!

Have started a ten week challenge diary in the weight loss diary part of the SW board if anyone fancies popping along and cheering/jeering/sneering/peering.

Oh, and in addition. I hereby pledge, that if I DO make target on the specified date, I shall post before and after pictures when I get home from WI that night.

KK - I think its lovely that your doing it with the OH, i wish i could do it with mine!!!! He's a builder and is incredably fit but the whole cycling & running thing isnt really him!!

Im not sure when we find out about the flat, were waiting on the landlord to come back with details of extending the lease and then we can go to completion - fingers crossed!!

I lost 1.5lb this week & IM IN THE 150's!!!!!!!!! :D :) :D :) Im so pleased!!! 11.5 to go until my 1st target!!

PS, I hate calling you Pesty, you are so far from a pest that it seems cruel :D

I am going to carry on with a lot of fish in my diet this week, perhaps not 100% fish but certainly at least one meal a day. I am also doing the scanbran thing again. Red days seem to be working incredibly well for me, so until I need to throw a couple of changes into what I am doing, I shall be skipping along with that. (I was going to say plodding along, but it wouldnt be an accurate picture.)

My mum has always called me Jess Pest and as i got a bit older it became pesty lol. I was a very big Pest when i was younger and still if i want something now i can pester until the cows come home lol

Mum also calls me pooh - i think that one comes from pooh bear rather than that im a little s*** lol.

I call her mother bear and my brother is squidge lol i dont know why haha. He's 10 years younger than me and he answers to anything - i could shout 'potato' and he would say 'yea??' lol squidge just sorta stuck.

haha i just realised how strange my family are!!! (or rather how strange i am!!)

LOL, I am really not having a good maths week, yesterday I had worked out that ten weeks to lose 1stone 6 meant I had to lose 1.6 lb a week.... I shall give up now :8855: Sorry!!!

I think if you scrape below the surface, most families have little quirks that make them unique, it would be a terribly boring existence if we didnt think up these fun ways to amuse and identify one another :D

For years, my brother referred to himself as "Amoo" and me as "Dee-An", due to his childhood inability to say the words Matthew and Gillian, fortunately that didnt stick into adulthood but I sometimes call him Amoo just to annoy him. He also used to refer to the tv programme "The Dukes of Hazzard" as "Doohazzda" and had a Tiny Tears doll that he named "Tube".

Yup, I can hold my hands up to the claim of "strange family" alright :D
 
i lost 0.5lb yesterday....not a lot but it was star week and although all good and was 100% i ate far,far more than normal!!!
im missing class next week as im away.....im actually away weds-fri this week at a friends,out for day sunday and then on holiday mon-fri next week so god knows what weigh in will be like on 30th when im next in class!!!
kinda thinking it'll be a massive gain as ive been absolutely 100% for the 20 weeks ive been doing sw so my body is gonna have a heart attack and grab all this lovely naughty stuff!
 
Lurverick, you may find that you have a bit of a gain straight after, but if you are careful, it will just be food weight and may even give you a good weight drop when you go back on plan. It can do the same job as going back to the first week again, in that it will give you a good loss. Sometimes our bodies need a little shake up and using a holiday or few days where you cant be on plan to do this can be very effective!

Not good to hear your deflated!! Try having a mini target, like for instance you have 2lbs until your into the 230's!! Or how many lbs till your next bmi digit drop?

I have to agree with MLM, sometime the break can do wonders for 'resetting' your body and can sometimes improve losses when you get back.

And even if you do come back with a small gain, you'll soon have it off - just look what MLM did this week!!

I think you'll be suprised how much you dont like the naughty things so much anymore!! The most important thing is to enjoy occasions, afterall its a journey and the plan takes time. Anyone that doesnt take a few days or weeks off to 'smell the roses' is crazy!! xxxx
 
i think you'll be right about that pesty!
i had a lunch off plan a few weeks ago(but was 50 syns so adjusted syns through week) and omg i felt grim,bloated,sluggish for the rest of that day and the next day!!
so god knows how i weill feel after this lot,lol!!

i actually thought last night that it may be good for me as im so near to target...may be a kick start,lol!!
just depends how big that gain is!!!
