From here to inskinnity! My mission to lose 13.5 stone!

I always make sure to have a banana just before I start working out to give me enough fuel to get through.

I've been looking at wedding dresses online too and narrowed it down to 3 different ones, all kind of a 1950's style also. My favorite one has lace half sleeves and since it's going to be October, I could do with the extra coverage (plus I'm not a fan of strapless dresses, they look a bit strange on me). However last night I found out that DF's sister wants exactly the same dress for her wedding in June next year! Not going to worry about it, I'm just going to go with what suits me best. Sounds like you've pretty much got everything sorted for your wedding! I think I need to knuckle down and make some more decisions!

oh girls at least you both have ideas on what you want, I haven't a clue! I hate wearing dresses to be honest but I am determined to lose this weight and feel fab in a gorgeous gown on my wedding day! I have seen a lovely one with lace sleeves and buttons up the back its very nice but that could all change when I try a few on. As you say Bev it will be all about what suits out body shapes best. I don't really want my arms on show my bingo wings are mashosive! Plus I hate strapless dresses too there just not for me. I can't believe it's less that a year till the wedding I've been keeping cool so far but can see me panicking after Christmas about all that still has to be done!!!

Have a great day :) x

To be honest I saw a dress at a wedding fair that I really liked (lace tea length thing) and fell in love. Then checked out the designer's website and fell in love with 2 more. However I haven't tried any on yet. Going to the National Wedding Show in Manchester in October with my best friend primarily to help her find stuff for her wedding but if I see the dresses I like, I'll probably end up trying them on!

Can't wait to see what dresses we all end up with, so exciting :). I'm kinda the same with the strapless ones, I love the way they look on other people but not sure whether they'd suit me. In 6 stones time though who knows! I'm going to check out some wedding dress shops this summer but doubt I'll be trying anything on until I'm closer to goal and at least out of the obese range.

Great day today food wise, 100% on plan and gorgeous food. Gotta love EE! Four days back on plan now and I'm feeling so much better in myself. I've stop craving all the crap now too. Think I'm going to weigh in on Monday just so I know where I am. Hopefully I've lost something, but after my week off I can't be sure.

So proud of myself today, I got in this evening and after tea I DID NOT feel like going for a run, but I made myself anyway. Turned out to be the best run of the week! So week 1 of C25K is over, can't wait to get started with the next week. Giving myself tomorrow off the gym as I'm working overtime tomorrow evening but then I'ms tarting C25k week 2 after my kettlebells class that morning. Not sure whether that's such a good idea or not as I'll find it pretty tiring I expect, but if I'm too tired I can always go later in the day.

Decided I'm going to weigh in on Monday before kettlebells for definite. I'm not sure it'll be the result I'm after but its been 2 weeks since the last WI, so it's time to face the scales again! :sigh:

Foodage today has been fab, another yummy red day. Having EE tomorrow though as Chris is making his famous meatballs for lunch, can't wait! Not sure how wise it is eating pasta before WI, but sod it, the scales say what they say! I know I'm doing everythign right and fully back on plan now so that's all that matters.

Day 5- 14th June - Red
Breakfast - Strawbs and raspberries topped with Liberte Greek yoghurt - 1 syn
Lunch - Chewy D (hexb) and banana (in a rush!)
Tea - Jacket potato (hexb) with tuna mayo (3 syns), cheese (hexa) and salad (1 syn for olives) - 4 syns

Total - 8.5 syns

Exercise
Walk to/from work - 20 minutes
Running - c25k - 30 minutes

Today I broke one of my absolute rules - doing weigh in the day after a workout! I STS, which was kinda annoying as I'd hoped for at least 1/2lb off, but I've only been back on plan for 5 days after 8 days off, so I should be relieved really that is isn't a gain. Either way I know exactly where I am now. I've decided to go back to weekly WI's for a while so I'll be weighing in again next Sunday morning. Determined to kick ass this week and get into those 17's at long last!

After weigh in I felt a bit disheartened so thought I'd cheer myself up by going for a run. Successfully completed C25K Week 2, day 1, it was a great run and I was buzzing by the end. I absolutely love the fact that I'm constantly improving and able to run faster and walk faster during the breaks too. I'm still slow but knowing I'm getting faster and fitter is an amazing feeling.

Updating food for the day now as I'm working overtime tonight from 5pm - 9.30pm (why oh why did I agree to that!). I can smell Chris's yummy spag bol cooking at the moment, gorgeous!

Day 6 - Sunday 15th June - EE
Breakfast - Liberte greek yoghurt - 1 syn
Snack - Banana
Lunch - Chris's amazing meatballs with pasta and cheese (hexa) - 7 syns
Tea - Nectarine and chewy D (hexb)
Total - 8 syns

Exercise
C25k Week 2 Day 1 - 30 mins running/walking

Argh * week is in town, no wonder I didn't lose anything, at least it makes me feel a bit more optimistic about next weeks wi!

Aww no, just saw you stayed the same too! Grr! Sucks doesn't it, I hate totm so much. On the bright side it'll be over soon at least and hopefully we'll get a good loss next week to make up for it!

I'm the same over these last 2 weeks I've lost nothing which is pretty demoralising, at least I know why though which makes it a bit better. I'm sure you'll be back to losing in no time vonny, we've both come a long way and I'm sure you've had times like this in the past too and got through it. Just keep doing what you are doing and it will come off I promise you, you've lost 8 stone so you know more than anyone how to do this. Sorry it's getting you down at the minute though xxx

Hi
Yea your right it's not the first time I've hit a wall and motivation seems to go,
It annoys me why I take so long to get bk into it,
I'm determined not to mess around for another week , day even ,
I know if I can get a few good days behind me il feel so much better, I don't think totm being due is helping as ii am seriously bloated ,
I've had a few days being okish but not fully on plan , from today I want it to be the start of a full on plan week ,

Girls I hear you both I completely agree it is so hard to get back 100% on track after a few days off. I found when I had a few days off & then tried to get back on plan I was just craving white bread, sugar, etc all the bad stuff I was eating when off plan! I think though once you get over the first few days it gets easier again and you don't crave the bad food anymore. I'm hoping for a good loss this week. I find keeping really busy for the first few days helps loads :)

Completely agree with both of you, getting back into any diet or healthy eating plan after a little break is a nightmare. The first few days I was craving things like crazy, thankfully that passed but now * week is in time. I always feel terrible for the first couple of days of * week and today is no exception. I've been hitting the co-codemol to take away the pain and hanging around the house in my PJ's with a hot water bottle at my side. At least I've got lots of trashy TV to watch in my Sky planner, might even watch the football too. Also caught up with a few diaries which has been nice, will read some more later :)

So much for kettlebells, I was really looking forward to going but cancelled the class last night as I knew I'd be in no fit state with the pain I was in. Will have to rebook the class for next Monday, I really want to get into it as like Ruby suggested it'll be brilliant for my arms and toning up. I've really been enjoying my exercise over the past week. I've been logging my miles on therunningbug.co.uk so if you use the site feel free to add me (cheesethief). Not sure when I'll be able to get my next run in, both me and Chris are off tomorrow afternoon together so are planning a cinema double bill, hopefully I can get another run in the evening before bed if I'm feeling a bit better by then.

Food for today is EE, wanted to do red but I was craving baked beans and cheese to made myself a yummy jacket for lunch. Today is my 7th day back on plan 100%, feels great to have got a good week under my belt now!

Day 7 - Monday 16th June - EE
Breakfast - Strawbs, raspberries and ww yoghurt - 1 syn
Lunch - Jacket potato, beans and cheese (hexa)
Snacks - Mango smoothie lolly - 3.5 syns, chewy D (hexb), banana
Tea - Stuffed mushrooms with leek, bacon and chedder - 3 syns
Total - 7.5 syns

Exercise - none

A bit of a snacky day but trying my best to stay within syns. So long as I don't go mad with the munchies later it should be a pretty decent day to say its * week and I've barely moved from the sofa all day! :p

Think I'm gonna have to nip for another nap now, these co-codemol make me feel so sleepy! xx

If you STS it's better than a gain in star week! You're doing great bev.

I love kettles, it's really toned my middle area up, like my back, shoulders, arms, tummy, hips. I did it on Friday night and my thighs are still hurting now! Mind you I did do a 2 hour walk on Saturday aswell so that could be contributing! So definitley try your best to get to some classes. It does make me gain the first week though, If I skip a week then get back to it I always put weight on!

Sorry to to hear you're not feeling good x

Thanks Hun, you're right about star week affecting wi, I was actually quite chuffed to have a STS when it started later that day, hopefully it means I'll have a decent loss this week! Dying to get these next 4lbs off now so I get my next award.

I was gutted I couldn't do kettles yesterday, I really need something like that to help me tone. I mean the running is great but it won't really help my arms. If I gain in the first week so be it, I remember when I used to avoid exercise completely because of fear of how it'd affect the scales. Now that just feels completely daft, after all it'll help me feel better and get fitter, health isn't just about a number on a scale!xx

Still feeling crappy from * week, so annoying but should be okay for tomorrow. At least I've only got 4 hours at work. Hate how exhausted and in pain I feel, really need to bite the bullet and make a docs appointment to see what they can do. It's so hard getting an appointment at my surgery though.

Sorry that you couldn't go and play with the kettleballs this week, I know how much you were looking forward to it.

With regards to the * week issues, are you sure you're getting enough iron? I have terrible anaemia and can't take iron supplements all the time so when I have * week during the off times, I feel even worse than normal. It's not a walk in the park when I have been taking my tablets but I notice I'm not as tired and the cramps might be a little easier to deal with. I know there is a tablet you can take to ease the symptoms (some kind of acid that may begin with an F but definitely isn't folic acid) but I've never taken it.

I know I've said before Bev so sorry for going on but I agree with Ruby. If they're that bad you need co-codamol to get through the pain maybe a trip to the docs is in order? I take tranexamic and mefanamic acid for mine otherwise I'm housebound for the whole time * week is in town. There's no point suffering through them when there's help out there and mine medication has been an absolute godsend x
