From here to inskinnity! My mission to lose 13.5 stone!

Morning lovelies, I've just been watching the Olympic snowboarding - wow! I'd love to give that a go some day, looks so much fun!

Off to get myself de-fuzzed ready for my swim tonight. Not that I'm usually a hairy Mary, but still, its bad enough being nearly 20st in a swimming costume without having leg stubble to boot!

Aiming for a lowish, yet yummy, red day today. Tomorrow night we're off out for the 3 coure valentines day meal (yey for flexi syns), so will be keeping it as low as I can 'til then.

Oh and it didn't snow here, but still looking super grey and nasty. Feels good to be snuggled up at home with the heating on. Even if I am spending the afternoon with my Biology text book.

Week 27, Day 2 - red
Breakfast - blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and red currants topped with muller
Lunch - Tuna mayo (3 syns) sweetcorn jacket potato (hexb) with cheese (hexa) and side salad - 3 syns
Snack - Aldi white choc buttons - 5.5 syns
Tea - Feta (hexa) salad with tomato, onion and olives - 2 syns
Supper - Chewy D (hexb)
Total - 10.5 syns
Weekly syns - 19/105

Estimated calories - 1350

Oh I always abbreviate it! It's a Special K Chewy Delight cereal bar. Where do you live?
 
Its my fault for being lazy and shortening everything, lol. They are my favourite of all the hexb cereal bar choices. I honestly can't stand the Alpens, I think they taste like cardboard! X
 
I like the Aldi benefit ones. Don't mind the Alpen ones, but Aldi's are so much cheaper. And some Alpen ones are really hard to bite into, you've nearly to snap them off with your teeth...
 
I'm with you on the Alpen ones Bev they are about as tasty as sawdust. Need to try the Aldi ones myself. Tried their muller light equivalent and they're so yummy and half the price x
 
I really need to try the Aldi Mullers, I didn't like the benefit bars either though, I'm a fussy one!

I don't even like the other Special K bars, only the Chewy D. Just glad they do milk chocolate and dark chocolate versions so I can mix things up a bit.

All this talk of food is making me hungry, though I might try and hold off for a bit actually as won't be having tea 'til after the swimming... Will try and do a bit more reading first.
 
Hey Bev.

Just wanted to let you know that I listened to my HGB cd last night - don't remember much of it so I'm sure I was asleep, but still! With my breakfast and lunch today I have actually left some food as I have realised I am no longer hungry, rather that just stuffing it all in. This is something of a first for me, leaving perfectly good food is something I just do not do! I'm not sure if the trance has actually worked and convinced my brain that I have a band, or that I'm consciously making the effort to leave food but either way I'm happy so far!

As for exercise, I'm the same as you - I have all these brilliant ideas about going swimming/to the gym/for a walk but it never actually comes to anything. I annoy myself with it but more important things seem to get in the way of my plans - I was going to go swimming on Monday but my daughter's been poorly so not going to pre-school so I couldn't - but I know what I'm like and probably would've found/made up another reason not to go. Apparently, this CD helps you to feel motivated in lots of different areas so I'm hoping it'll give me the kick up the ass that I need! xx

re Aldi's own "mullers" - be careful...they're not all syn free...i was caught out way back in the beginning...just something to be aware of x

Ron - Glad the PK seems to be working for you. I'll have to see if I can find a download somewhere, then can put it on my iPod before bed and give it a try.

Hope your daughter feels a bit better, bugs everywhere at the minute. I'm so lazy I usually don't even try and make excuses, just can't be bothered! Looking forward to swimming tonight though and now I've gone on about in here I feel like I HAVE to go, so the thought of binning it off hasn't even crossed my mind! (yet... ;))

Missk - Sorry you feel so hungry today. Hope you enjoyed the shortbread, try not to beat yourself up about it, just syn and move on.

OMG I'm eating a small bag of Aldi white chocolate buttons and they are AMAZING, only 5.5 syns (110 cals) too. I'm letting them melt on my tongue while watching the Olympics and they last ages! :D And yep, I'm sitting watching people compete at sport on an international level while eating white chocolate buttons. I realise how daft that sounds!
 
Yes.... that's why you are having white ones.... like the snow.... solidarity

I've sat and watched The Biggest Loser while eating a Chinese in the past so I'm with you on the irony munchies lol They make you tired just watching them it's no wonder you needed something with sugar to give you an energy boost x
 
Woohoooo! 66 lengths in an hour, the girl still got it! :D

Really enjoyed myself tonight. When I went swimming at my heaviest I'd absolutely dread the walk between the cubicle and the pool, feel sooo much better about it now. Before when I got in the pool all the time I was in I'd dread getting out, none of that any more which is nice.

My swimming costume is also MASSIVE now, had a look and it's a size 26 so pulled out an old size 18 and it fit. A little tight on the bum though so I went for the big one this time. Never again, I was practically flashing and had to re-tie it about 10 times!

Off to look at membership prices now, not letting myself slack of like before... I will get into exercise! :) *feeling motivated*
