FUNCURLS FOOD DIARY, BLOG and CHIT CHAT!! New target set!!

Thanks for your good wishes Hevs, had an 11 hour kip last and I still feel washed out. Still snuffly and oh so tired.

Lou is now at the top of my hit list for giving me this cold!

No changeovers at the apartment fortunately. Season is over now and it will probably be quiet now until Easter. We may get the odd golfer come out over the winter but there won't be that many as RyanAir have cut back on the flights to Murcia again this winter.

Have a relax today if you can chica - before another night shift.
Grrrr - but at least you're not back then until Wednesday.

Just had another 2 hours kip! So I am definitely resting . . . lots.

My hubby is lovely - but mopping my fevered brow? Never has he done that in a month of sundays and I don't suppose he's going to start now :8855:

He doesn't do illness very well in other folk!

Will you go to bed woman! You need your sleep after a night shift!

Hello lovely lady,

Im just popping in to check your ok? I havent had a chance to read but dont want to risk seeing a food diary as its making me hungary!! Im attempting Dukan this week to try and inspire a loss lol xx

Oh hun, just been catching up and saw your post on your thread! Sorry to see that you're feeling glum about what the scales are saying! You just do what you feel will suit you, but it may be that it will only take a couple of weeks to really break the back of the gain! Just like when you started originally there's still no hurry to get it off, but if what you need is a boost to get you started and don't think SW would give you that, then go for Dukan- it does seem to be one of the healthier of the 'quick loss' plans, although I personally don't believe in cutting out major food groups, but if it's temporary....ha, check me out bein all high and mighty!! Well its WI for me this eve- After last weeks gain I'm now 5.5lb up from my own 10st10 Target so hoping to half that tonite! XxX Luvsya and keep smiling! XxX

Hope you eventually got some sleep and that WI is kind.

Soooo peeps, I lost 1.5 lbs this week!! OK it's a decent enough loss, so it's not bad! But after last week's 3.5 lb gain I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed as felt I deserved more! But it is *week and I know I say this every time but it really does seem to affect me and night shifts do something strange to me too! I weighed at home yesterday and it was looking really good for a big loss today- I kept the food light yesterday and overnight on my night shift but my home scales showed a 2lb gain in 24 hours!! So I'm trying to overlook the number this week and hope for a better one next week! Hopefully all the good days I have in the bank will all help- unfortunately tonight's extra syns post WI won't have helped towards that all important loss but we'll see!! I was a bit gutted as I had to pay tonight for the first time since reaching Target- I had just 1 lb more to lose to stay within target range, but at least I'm closer!! I'm off to Madeira 3 weeks today so my aim is to get back to my original Target or lower by then- that means 4 lb to lose in 3 weeks- surely it's do-able!!!

Onwards and downwards this week with lots of emphasis on superfree foods- I'm well stocked up on all the right things so I just have to concentrate on what I CAN eat and I'm going for a week with no chocolate and no diet coke!! Rant over!!X

Hevs - my body weight really fluctuates on a daily basis depending on what I've eaten the day before. Green day (carbs) puts me up, Red days puts me down. Plus as you say night shifts muck the body up something awful. You can get rid of those extra pounds by the time you go on holiday chica. You know you can.

Elle - welcome back. Just hoing to pop over to your diary to see if there is an update. How are you and Mr Bear?

Thanks Mrs Stanley and Bev for the positivity! I feel fine and positive and looking forward to having 3 great weeks on plan! X

A loss is indeed a loss missus!!! :D Im sure you'll have that little bit off in no time, your doing well - definitly better than i did at target, i went out of it my first week and never went back into it!! lol

Thanks for the message re Dukan, I started it yesterday, weighed today and have lost 4lbs :D Im doing 4 days of the just protein bit and then it pretty much turns into red days as its unlimited meat and salad and veg :D :D

Good luck for getting that little bit off, not that you need it you'll do it anyway!!

xx

Hi Heather....................that sounds a good enough loss to me after what I put back on..................you are so good at regulating yourself. I could do with some of your will power.

Sorry to have been absent but I promise you I have thought about you it has only been pressure of work.

Even if you don't lose the 4lbs, even though you know you will, what the hell, you will still look gorgeous and have achieved so much.

Hi Pesty, Claire and Sue!!

Pesty well done on that 4lb- that's awesome work! What you're doing does sound great for the short term to give you a head start and get your brain back into 'slimming action' if not 'Slimming World' just yet!!X

Claire, the main thing is that you enjoyed your hols and that you're now here, joining up on Thurs and ready to tackle it!! You never give up and that's definitely the secret!! Even if it's slow progress (just look at me lol!!) as long as we're in it, we have a good chance of winning it!! Looking forward to some more SW chat!!!X

Sue all I can say is Thank you Thank you Thank you! It's people like you who instill confidence in me which is all I need really to believe in myself! I beat myself up so often for not meeting the standards I set for myself and I really shouldn't! Hope you're OK and not too stressed out!! How's the house sale looking? Any progress?X
