How's the head today? Too much celebrating last night?

When are you back home chica?

Hi hun, no bad head, not a drop to drink!! Apart from a sherry trifle today at lunch hehee!! Hope you celebrated in style! XxX

Are you going to start talking some sense on here chica rather than all these icky icky hellooooooos?

I need some talk of omelettes! :D

scramblettes Pomms! not ommlettes!!!! she has 3 egg scramblettes!

Which leads me into an egg story - whilst i have been away for New year, we went on a walk and found a little egg hutch - where you put money and take the eggs, on an honesty basis!!!! :D £1 for 6 free range eggs!

They were delish! will upload a couple of piccies!!! Egg-mazing! xxx

OK OK Bev, point taken! I suppose my diary is looking a little dull!! I have stopped writing food diaries (for now) as I was finding I was becoming a slave to them, but I'm more than aware that if I struggle to get these 10 lbs off, I will be reverting back to doing so and therefore staying more focused!! I'd like to be able to do it alone without using them as a crutch!

However.....let me tell you about the veg curry I made this evening!! Yummy with a capital Y!!

A red onion, 3 cloves garlic, 1 aubergine, 1/2 fair sized marrow, 6 big fresh tomatoes, a yellow pepper, a red pepper, a generous amount of quick cook red lentils, hot curry powder, chilli powder, cumin, coriander, veg stock. With boiled basmati rice! Loved it!! I found that the marrow and aubergine added bulk and a nice texture- great for food optimising!

Ellebear, eggsellent to hear about your eggstravanza egg hatch!! We get lots of local farmers around these parts selling them in that way! One down the hill does quails' eggs too which are lovely with salad as a starter! And you're right, I did used to call my omelettes 'scramblettes', which I kind of liked calling them!! I LOVE EGGS!! They're a crackin' good option to go for on SW and so versatile!!!

Bev, hope this makes for a more interesting entry than a simple 'Hello' or 'Happy New Year' lol!!!XXX

Much better chica! :D
I just need to know you are still alive and kicking on here. I agree food diaries get a wee bit tedious. Mind you I still write mine down every day. I can't actually live without my crutch either!

That curry sounds wonderful. We had prawn curry for supper last night. The curry itself was super friendly. the only problem was I also got stuck into the naan, poppadoms, mango chutney, onions in tomato salsa and raita. Only the raita was free out of the last lot!

Hmmm that is indeed the problem with the accessories that accompany a curry isn't it!! I'm proud to say I didn't accessorize apart from a tablespoon of mango chutney as it really does set it off very nicely indeedy! 3 egg scramblette on the cards tomorrow morning before my treacherous long day, with a little ham, cheddar and red onion, morning break in work will be a pink grapefruit, a couple of satsumas and an Activia yogurt, lunch will be a turkey, rocket and cranberry sauce sandwich which I made just now, and a banana, and tea will be the remainder of the veg curry and rice! There, food diary done! X

Happy New Year Heather!! Hope you are okay, sorry for not being here a couple of weeks, had really bad flu and have just eaten comfort food for 3 weeks but back on track now. New Year, New Start!! xx :)

Hey Clairey, a scramblette is a cross between an omelette and scrambled egg, which is how mine usually turn out!! The name stuck!!

Pestyyyy!!!! Don't worry, I was quite quiet over the Chrimbo period due to work work work, and then went down to Exeter to my olds for New Year! So didn't really see much of Dai's family or our friends in Swansea and I wasn't here on Minis all that much! But it's great to spend time here because the support really does help to keep focused, and the banter really does help to keep spirits up!! Hope you're OK and that 2012 is a better year for you!!

Heeeyyyy Tina!! Lovely to see you here in 2012 and fighting fit!! You did great before Christmas so don't let a few lbs of gain throw you! I think most of us did some damage during silly season but the only thing that matters is that you're dealing with it early in the year and not letting it drag on!! Think how many people out there aren't tackling the excess!! Hope you enjoy attending class! After 2 missed weeks I'm really looking forward to getting back to mine!XXX

Hey Hevs,

I love that - 'silly season' its a free pass for binging but i think we need it!! We spend all year 100% focused and we have to enjoy some time off at some point!!

Lots of us have proved that most of it was easy on easy off. Besides, if we were all good and reached target over xmas, what on earth would we do for a new years resolution?!?! :D

xx
