Gaga's Bulging Epic Battle......

Oh thanks ladies- you've made me cry with all your lovely comments. I was doing so well until I tried that Shred! Balls indeed. I really do feel like a failure next to hubbie as anything he tries he just excels at whereas I have to try at anything I attempt. He is so fit and does so much so compared to him I really do look awful. He is rubbish at support and still has not made a single comment about my weight loss! used to that tho so I know I shouldn't let it get to me.

I will try again tomorrow morning and see how far I get then and Clair I love the vibes about being almost half way (despite not even completing one full set of reps!). As Miss Michaels said it wasn't going to be easy but never thought I'd get beaten by some jumping jacks!!!!!!

Strong Gaga is here and isn't ready to give up just yet. Got a mammoth weigh in tomorrow to mark the end of 5 months so looking forward to that. I just hope you guys are still around by November when I'll be getting close to the end as you are all getting so close now.

Love you all loads and know I simply couldn't do this diet without you all. This is the best support ever xxxxx

I'm hoping I won't still be dieting in Nov
I have 2 stone 8 1/2 to go so hopefully not

But I will still be in the mist of the maintaining battle :) and you will always have my phone number ;) x

You're doing so well ladyg, and it's fantastic to see that you'll get to your target this year, it's so motivating. I'm hoping to have hit my goal by then, but I think I'll still be around, trying to maintain! I'm scared to leave the support of the forum, so hopefully we can create an Exante Maintainers area :)

Sorry to hear that hubbie's so unsupportive at the moment and hasn't commented on your amazing progress so far. It's so hard, but as you say, at least you've found support here :) I guess the other thing is that you've found the amazing strength and determination from within yourself, you know it's all your own energy and motivation that has got you this far. As well as being almost half way through the shred, you're almost half way to your goal, which is a brilliant achievement; and we'll be with you as you get all the way there :D:D:D

Yes we should def have a maintainers area

8 minutes of the shred is NOT a failure, by any manner of means Gaga !!
I reckon I did about that all in, on the first day too, as I kept stopping. Each day, I did a wee bit more.
If you are more comfy with Rosemary, then do that for a while longer :)... then try the shred again. You will get there :).

Good luck for WI tomorrow
Marge

Thanks again ladies. I really was on a downer after my shred-attempt this morning and with hubbie's silly ways. Oh well. Tis now a new day and happy determined Gaga will continue. What I meant by you all still ebing around by November was in the maintaining sense of course- didn't want to offend anyone. Just thought you will all have reached your goals by then and I'll be missing my buds! Have tried to get photos off my phone so could upload some and it didn't work so will try again in the week. Took one earlier in my baggy trousers so thought I'd share that one to begin with!

So today marks the official end of week 20 of Exante and I have learnt so much. My journey is going to be a long one and hopefully I shall be near to goal by the time we go to Jamaica than have some time off for Christmas when we get back then back on plan again in the new year me thinks.

So in 5 months I haven't broken plan once and have stayed true to TS, WS, protein nibbles and yes a few extra bars and the losses have been steady with some big loss weeks and others very small or STS but overall the results are on track. Today at WI I need to have lost 5lbs to reach the 5 stone in 5 months marker so am crossing everything that the exercise and being good this week will have paid off. Been a toughie of a weekend but learnt to get through it and keep on track so my stubborness shone through again.

Got a busy week this week with nights then back on days and loads of Uni work to crack on with. Also think dreaded TOTM is looming by the dull ache in my belly and boobs that I dare not touch!!! This will prove hard for me to get the exercise into my routine as when I work days I leave at 06:30 and don't get home until after 9pm so fitting it all in could prove a challenge. Was really enjoying doing the Rosemary Conley aerobics DVD's so will either stick with them for a bit longer or keep trying my hand at the dread-shred! Will see how I feel in the morning but after a night shift, I dare not comment on which DVD (if any!) will win!

On a positive my clothes online seem to be gathering interest. It's funny how things I thought would sell have no watchers or bids and stuff I really wasn't sure whether to add seems to be getting the complete opposite effect. Fingers crossed it will make me a few pennies for the next size down........

So here's to a good week for us all MM friends xxxxx

Hmmmm Boooo @ TOTM think mine is due next weekend, but it came a week early last month trying to sync with you guys lol
Hope you have a great week xxx

I luffs you too Crystal....mwah xxxx

Well MM firends I have just had my milestone 5 month weigh in and can proudly report that I have lost a whopping 6lbs this week!!!!! OMG! I didn't think 5lbs was reachable let alone 6lbs! All that exercise and nibble avoidance must have paid off. I am so pleased. That now puts me at a total of 5stone 1lb lost in 5 months and pushes me just over my half way target so I can officially say I am over half way there now and weigh under 100kgs!!! Woo hoo! 15stone 9lbs never seemed reachable at the beginning of the year and now I am there.

Thanks for all your support. Could NEVER have done this without you guys. Much love xxxxxx

Much love back, I for one would not be here if it wasn't for you helping me a few weeks back xxx

WOW LadyG!!! 6lbs is amazing! Well done you - it's so well deserved! I'm really pleased for you xxx :)

And it couldn't have happened to a better person. You so deserve it, you've always listened to my crap moaning and been so supportive, I'm over the moon for you, massive hugs :D :D :D

Wow :D
6lbs :banana dancer:
That is really excellent Gaga :D

Thanks again for all your lovely comments and for your continued support. I do feel great on achieving this milestone today so all is good. I told hubbie I'd lost 6lbs this week and all I got was an 'oh'- man he is so bloomin' useless.

Well I've ummed and ahhhed for weeks now about uploading pics so thought I would bite the bullet and go for it. Have attached 2 photos from back in March which was when I'd already lost about 2 stone and I remember thinking when I took them that I felt so much smaller . Looking at them now I still look huge! the other 2 were taken today just before work and I can really see the difference- particularly around the middle and on my 'shelf-arse' as I call it!!!! Hopefully they demonstrate a small part of my journey so far and show any newbies that it can be done........
