hello all been shopping tonight, didnt spend as much as we planned so cuffed with that. got to talk to landlord this weekend got damp in kitchen and its bad , not sure if he will do anything about it hope so i love the house but its not good , anyway having salad ,potatos, meat for tea , got bad couple days ahead . the inlaws dog is very ill ( hes 15 years old) hes breathing bad ,and the vet say hes not got long left ,got to go on thursday to see what happens , so will have to look after mother in law she upset but is ready to say goodbye , anyway not going to get down on thing that are out of my control , hope everyones week is going ok xxx phill

Hope the damp situ gets sorted for you soon, my flat has issues in the kitchen, some lovely discolouring going on with the walls, moved in last july and told estate agents then...nothings been done (combined with the fact I also dont have hot water in tap in kitchen and the taps also about to fall off, it's going great! lol)
Sorry to hear about the dog too...so sad, that's why I wont let myself get one as I know I howl like a baby when they go, we used to have a golden lab called sandy when i was growing up, and he died when he was 14, I had to have 2 days off school i was so distraught :cry:... my mum is dog mad so I've lost a further 3 over the years since then too so know where ur coming from.

I have been a landlady and now a tenant , go to c.a.b or a law centre as your landlords breaking the law, if your on housing benifits get the inspector in and he will write a letter with points raised that he needs to address, you as a tenant have aload if rights more than the landlord xx

Really sad about your MIL's dog, if I thought I might have to put mine to sleep.. that would be my worst nightmare and I totally agree with what Kally said - they become like members of the family.
It's so awful but take some comfort that you're putting him out of pain and he's had a good 15 yrs xo

thank you all for your kind words xxx got a phone call this morning asking me to go and see MIL , my little mate ( dog) died in his sleep last night , so she wanted me to check if he had passed away and help move him to go to vets , im glad he went that way ,as sad as i am it was a lot better than having him put down ,he looked so peacefull ( which i think helped MIL)
going to see land lord on sat to pay rent will talk to him about it see what we can do to sort problem out , thank you all again for your kind words xxxx

for god sake i need to stop being a boring moaning old prick , lisas had early night not felling best at the min with head ache , so i decided to read my diary from start , just wanted to see what i had wrote a while ago .anyway read the first few pages and realised that i had gone from being a upbeat and chatty to a grumpy old man in the space of a couple of months, so i here and now apologise to everyone who has read my diary and thought the same. as of tomorrow the motivations are coming back , getting rid of stupid songs (dont know why i started them) and getting back to basics. need to bring the fun back into phill and happy these pages up, rant over!
ok thing to be happy about
1 , lossing 77lbs
2, getting into a xl clothing
3, for taking control of weight and doing something about it
and last but def not least , having a loving caring and supporting wife , without her i would be lost xxxx
as i look back to the photos of me then and now im happy but thinking i might need to lose a couple more stone after goal, goal puts me at 18 stone from 26 stone , as a huge achivement this will be i will still be over weight ,so im thinking that fingers crossed that if i can get down to 16 stone then maintain thats the real goal ,
anyway going to have a tab and cuppa will see you all in the morning were i will be happier !!!!

Don't worry Phill we all go through a grumpy stage usually mid way through our dieting journey only naturalyou've done so well mate so i'm sure you'll soon get to your goal and then once there you can re evaluate your weight loss and at which point you want to settle and maintain

afternoon all hope everyones is ok , well be doing house work today a bit of hoovering and polishing , also help lisa with hampers , feel a lot better and happier today . like mumma k said i think i went through a mid diet strop for a few weeks ,now im back and ready to finish the job , got to start doing more exercise ive stopped doing as much as i used to and i think i need to get back on it.

Firstly I am so pleased the little dog went peacefully in his sleep instead of everyone having the trauma of putting him to sleep
I am also loving your list of things to be thankful for, I think it's so important to stop every now and then to appreciate what we have.
