Graze boxes

I've been tempted by these before but I'm always put off by the fact that you have to sign up and give all your details before you can even really browse what they have and how much it will cost ect. (well what things you can have in it)
My brothers started getting them now and he keeps hassling me to sign up so he can have some money off.

Does anyone else get them? How do you work out the syns on what your eating from them?

There are a few of us on here, we've talked about them before but I can't find the thread!

I work out the syns from the calorie content - the calories are listed in the booklet which comes with them. I like them a lot but only have one every few weeks, I keep pushing my delivery back, because I am too tempted by them!

Today I got - Banana bread afternoon tea cake (58 cals - 3 syns) Bonnie oatcakes and relish 120 cals (6 syns) Poached pear - dried pear, pumpkin seeds and sultanas 106 cals (5.5 syns) and beach bum - coconut, mango and banana 121 cals (6 syns)

I wouldn't be put off by entering your details, they can't send you anything unless you pay for it. Changing delivery is easy, just push the delivery back! You only get charged the day before dispatch too.

I love them!! (can you tell!!)

They sound really good actually, all low syn what you've said as well. (well I suppose its bound to be being health food, but saying that there are a lot of things which claim to be healthy which have loads of hidden syns)

Thank you for the advice, will def have to give it a go when I get round to having a proper look at what they have to offer :)

Oh, you can also pick the light box instead of the nibble box, everything is then under 100 calories (I think!) - I found it a bit restrictive though so I go for the nibble box :)

Looking on the website it does say the cals of a lot of things, but some not.... It looks like its all the under 100 cal things that are listed, I'm guessing the things which aren't listed are still lowish? Like the flapjacks?

I'm actually really looking forward to getting a box actually, the stuff looks yummy, I didn't realise you could get little cakes, popcorn ect. I thought it was all nuts, seeds and dried fruit

The popcorn is ace!!! i had some last time and got a bag full once I'd popped it, for 5 syns!!
The flapjacks are about 200 cals - I've taken them off my list of allowed products, far too nice and tempting.

You do get the nutritional info with your order though and if you don't like it you can always "bin" it on the web page.

That's good so you don't forget what you have had and didn't like before (yeah I know that sounds silly but its the sort of thing I'd do)

I thought the popcorn looks big to be honest, was thinking could share it with my boyfriend for a measly 2.5 syns while we watch a film. Hehe I'm getting way too excited about this... will have to work out when I have free syns to place my order though (I'm on low syns this week as having take-away tonight) and next week I'm at a halloween party on Saturday so will have to be careful with syns the rest of the week as well... but I could order for next week and have one thing a day.

Or just make it for November, start it off well. I'm hoping for a 100% November (don't think it will happen we're already planning Christmas markets haha)

i used to get the graze boxes but to be honest i found them a bit pricey for what you get as between health food shops and the pound shop i can buy almost identical products for ALOT less i always avoided the breads and flapjack as they were v high syn but the nuts seeds and choc pieces are readily available at most supermarkets also some things i have had are high in syns for the teeny portion you get.

if you do insist on spending a small fortune on these you do get a nutritional info book with the items in your box nutritional info so you can work out syns

Very true, they are pricey but I do like the portion control with them. If I bought a bag of dried fruit etc from the health food shop, I wouldn't stop at a small amount!!!

For me they are just a fancy little treat :)

I have had the Graze boxes for a while but I've postponed my deliveries for a few weeks as I found I'm not eating them. I think some of the things are a lot of syns for what you get, and I keep thinking I could get something a lot better for that amount! They are lovely though.
