I do WS so used now to the protein based meals and to be honest once over the no carb craving stage and breaking that habit that says you need (altho you dont really) rice or potato or bread with it, it is totally fine. Roast with veg no potatoes is still lovely, I have veg side dish with curry or meatballs, salad with chilli, chicken/fish/steak with either veg or salad - all lovely and no carbs. Means you can still eat with the family just leave off the carbs from your plate.
I must say I do feel better for it. Hope it all goes well for you. xx
