OK. So, I am new to the site, and new to healthy living as well. Ive always been a tad to a fair bit overweight ( ranging from 20-65lbs) but for the first time in my life i feel its effects, and want to be a healthier me. Funds are limited as we have a wedding fast approaching and two kids to go along with our new mortgage, so I took a pass on enrolling in any costly programs, and decided instead to spend my weight loss budget on healthier grocerie for myself and my family, and the purchase of wii fit plus and Jenny McGarthy's Your Shape game
My eating habits previously were beyond terrible i have a horrible aversion to anything natural
so needless to say this has been the journey already for me ( 5 weeks in )
Ive decided to start posting my food log to make me more aware of what im consuming and for the constructive critisism this site has to offer
Go easy on my friends, Im new all the way around.
( I was previously consumming like 3000 calories a day !!! so baby steps )
Day 1- april 22
Breakfast: 1cup Fibre1 cereal with 1cup 2% milk
8oz water
Lunch : 1 can of campbells light choice chicken noodle soup
1 bottle aquafina vitamin water ( with acai )
Snack: thinsations yogurt covered pretzels
Dinner: whole wheat pita filled with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, cubes of cheddar cheese, and chicken breast strips
250 ML of sunrype fruit and veggie juice
Snack: handful of wheathins crackers
This was actually a very successful day for me! The family is home on holidays I usually binge eat pretty bad in these times so Im pleased with myself
I also did 25 minutes of hard cardio on Youshape and a half hr of excercising on the wii fit
