Welcome home Helen

I bet the cold hit you the moment you stepped off that plane haha

It was pretty chilly but not as bad as I thought it was going to be, not had a chance to get on your diary yet either and if it took me 19 pages to get through Emma's goodness knows how many it's going to be on yours! Lol x

-------

Feeling a bit weird today, still feel travel sick, like I'm on a boat, had this years ago and had to get some pills from the Doctors but waiting to see how it goes as might take a few days to get back to normal, one of my reasons for not being on here loads as the screen looks like its moving!

Intended to be fully back on plan today but we have zilch food in the house so haven't eaten anything yet and we're about to go Christmas shopping, need to get it finished otherwise I'm going to stress as hate shopping in December, it's Mark's birthday next week too and I'm usually so organised but cannot think what to get him this year and he's coming with me so it doesn't look like its going to be a surprise either!

Started menu planning for the week so need to get to the shops and then spend tomorrow or Friday bulk cooking, usually love it but don't feel motivated to do it, I'm sure once I'll start it'll be fine, was thinking of making speed soup, has anyone made it before? Is it nice and also does it make a difference with weight loss or shall I just make a normal soup? X

I have had the speed soup a couple of times its ok, but to be honest soup is pretty good anyway if its homemade and full of veggies... It's when you add extras like cheese or cream when it gets bad... Soup also fills you for longer if you add pulses... Kev adds chick peas to almost every one he makes as not only do they thicken (we like thick soup) but they are slow release on the sugar front which helps fill you up without needing a ton of bread to soak it up...xx

To those on Facebook you know what a mare I had last night, driving home from Christmas shopping my car broke down, we ended up being outside for 4 hours, it was freezing (especially as a couple of nights before we'd been in nearly 90c heat), they couldn't fix it so we were towed to a garage and didn't get home until gone midnight, cars still in garage now, hope they fix it soon, I kept leave these last few days to get bits done for Mark's birthday and Christmas and have done nothing today apart from washing and ordering tesco delivery to come tomorrow as they have no slots today.. I'm sure online shopping is good but I miss going into the shop!

Still feeling dizzy and sick from flight, didn't help being freezing cold last night, off to weigh in shortly.. Dread to think how much I've put on! Ended up eating half a bar of chocolate in car last night.. Was good excuse! X

Bloody cars Helen xx

Tell me about it! Garages are useless at letting you know what's going on too, need to find out today what's going on as need car for work on Sunday x

---

Well I went to weigh in last night and I've gained.. 6lb! I'm back where I said I wouldn't go, in the 15's again.

All I can think is thankfully I made better choices than I could have done, dread to think how much I would have gained if I'd had more alcohol, if I'd given in to having chips, popcorn etc but I avoided all that.

I am on my period and also my ankles are still swollen from the flight (didn't realise they were until tried to put my boots on and can't get them over my ankles!) so perhaps maybe a bits fluid retention.

Can't wait for food shop to arrive so I can get back on plan, I have got stuff I can have for breakfast but no superfree.

I intend to be on plan everyday this week.. Except Saturday!! That's been planned for so long and want to enjoy it.

Has anyone got the new SW entertaining recipe book? I bought it last night and its really fab, can't wait to give the recipes ago x

Sounds like with the combo of star week and your ankles that the six pound gain will be mostly water... Sounds daft but drink plenty of water, green and Peppermint teas and try some apple cider vinegar capsules and that should help...xx

Absolutely fluid rentention there Helen :)
See you tomorrow lovely x

Don't think I usually get fluid retention but must be that, I'll get loads of water in me, have heard of apple cider vinegar capsules so I'll try and get some of those as well.

Lets hope they go down tomorrow as although I have no idea what I'm wearing I do know I was going to wear boots with jeans as they are comfortable to walk around in and warm.. They will go on!

I've got my car back! They delivered it here this morning.. And they've done it for free as a gesture of good will! So over the moon, will pop out later and buy a card and some tins of chocolate to take in to thank them x
