I'm new here from today. My name is Sue, and have been a yo yo dieter all my life!
About 6 months ago my glucose levels looked quite high and although I was some way off being diabetic, my doctor suggested I try and shed a few pounds! I went low carb and hated it and had only lost a few pounds and to add insult to injury my blood pressure rocketed!
So on the advice of a friend, I joined Slimming World on Dec 2nd 2014 and haven't looked back, I love it.
My starting weight was 14stone 7lbs and so far I have lost 1stone 10lbs in just over 9 weeks.
My blood glucose levels are down and my blood pressure is all back to normal.
I have browsed these forums on many occasions looking for some advice and now feel confident enough to hopefully join in as well.
