Help Assistance needed by Newby

Hi

I have just been given xenical today from my doctor, I have read all the threads on this website.

I have been on the xenical site the MAP one however I cant seem to register does anyone know how you do this, or whether you still can.

Also does anyone know whether you can drink any alcohol on this diet or any other drinks or is it just water.

Really struggling as I only got the leaflet from the chemist and this tells you not a lot.

Hi Hun, Didnt want to just read and run.

Im not really too sure about your questions. Its a fair while since i used xenical. I was drinking alcohol though so i guess you can.

Bascially my doctor told me to just go about my normal business but that if i ate anything too fatty the results wouldnt be good for me.....ie bathroom rushes Lol.

Hope someone comes along soon to help you.

I've just had a wee look at the website and it says that New Registrations are now closed There is a link to a new website, RocheUK.com - Roche UK home page , but I don't think you can register there either. I think you would need to phone them ( number I think is 0800 731 7138 )
As far as I know, alsohol should be ok as there is no fat ( I think lol), I'm not a drinker though lol.
Food wise, everything you eat should be 5% fat ( on the label, look at fat content, and you want no more than 5g of fat per 100g of food product), also you want to have no more than 15g of fat per meal. I keep a food diary now, ( am on my 3rd one lol), and I write down everything I eat, and the fat grammes in it.

I've been drinking what I normally do, but I don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks, so dunno how that would affect you really, sorry. But dilute, things like Oasis haven't bothered me at all.
