Here we again again 😢

So.........here we go again - I’m sure I’m king of the yo-yo diets at this pointšŸ™„

Started 6 years ago and been up and down ever since - when I’ve ever got to my goal weight (11stone fromclose to 16) I’ve gone on a standard keto diet and enjoyed it till ā€œlifeā€ has got in the way (work, kids etc)

Due to hamstring issues over the past few months (not being able to train) I’ve piled weight back on, which I find very easy to do! I’m back at 13.6😢 and feeling fat lol

Thankfully now, my hamstrings sorted and I’m able to get back on it again so I’m trying exante one last time to get back into the correct frame of mind for 4-6 weeks just to lose some fat before a holiday.

I’ve always found it hard when reaching a goal to stick at it, thinking well, I’ll eat this as a one off seeing how I’ve done so well etc and then it just seem to snow ball from then on till I’m back to square one again 😄

I ran (lol jogged maybe) for the first time in a few months last night and could only managed 5km in 33mins before giving up and feeling rather crap. (A good 13mins slower than what I can achieve when fit/light)

This 4-6 weeks ahead is going to be really hard for me so I joined the forum just for some support in knowing that I’m not the only one having to do this again.

At this point I’m using past achiements and goals to spur me on for where I want to be in 16 weeks

Here’s what I managed in 13 weeks last year and plan for this as a minimum this time round......

welcome back. My Mum is also a bit of a yoyo'er. I'm trying to encourage her in finding a bit of balance, so her weight loss isn't through extreme methods that she can't maintain going forward. I have had to find something I can do for life too, and I think I've finally found it. (fingers crossed). Good luck in getting back to where you're happy being.
