Hi All,
I'm Lula, 30 years old and from Leicester. I shall be starting Slimming World tonight. I have done Rosemary Conley before and was so happy with the results, sadly there are currently no groups near to me for her diet plan so thought I'd start on Slimming World! I am desperate to lose what I think will be about 4 stone (I haven't looked at my weight on the scales for about 3 months so am hazarding a guess by how terrible I currently feel).

I really want to throw myself into this and get myself into the position where I'm enjoying shopping for clothes again and this the support of this forum will be an excellent tool in keeping my motivation high and my eye on the prize.

I intend to start up a diary after my first weigh in tonight, be prepared for a terribly mopey first post when the truth of what I weigh is there for all to see .

Well, a little about myself. I work full time in an office job and enjoy gigs, festivals, video gaming, painting and such things that are not well known for their activeness!

I can't wait to go shopping and buy something because I like it rather than thinking it might not look that bad!

I'm in my 4th week of slimming world and enjoying it so far as I can eat loads of fruit and veg and I'm feeling much livelier for eating so much healthier!

Good luck Lulapops! I have about the same amount of weight to lose as you. Buying clothes is one of the things I am most looking forward to, I hate shopping and feeling so fat and frumpy. Can't wait to read your diary x
