Hi from a newbie

Hi everyone

I'm joining class tomorrow, I went a few years ago but didn't really have my head in the right place so didn't do any good. 18 months ago I got myself sorted & managed to calorie count my way down from 18:13:5 to 11:7 but since hitting that on 1st Dec last year I've yoyo'd from 11:7 to 12:5 so to get me to my goal of 11:0 I've decided to try a new approach & join sw. I've eaten extra easy way since Monday & have to admit the cals I'm consuming is terrifying me but the consultant I spoke to on the phone says I need to trust it will work although this week so far scales haven't moved but I'm eating about 4-500 cals more than I normally do so I'm hoping my body is just in shock...

Oh well onwards & hopefully downwards to 11 stone.....
 
18st to 11? Wow well done.

This is low/no fat so different to calorie counting although I watch my portions and only eat when actually hungry not cos I think it's free food and can.

I did low fat too due to starting off taking xenical/orlistat for 4 months so I was used to low fat. Yes I lost 7st 6.5lb in 14 months then as I say i have yoyo'd for a while & I am back up to 12:3ish now so not far off target but I need something maintainable for life & I hope this will be...

Confused me then, was just thinking that newbie looks like Lexie, welcome to this forum and to Sw. You will get to your target I am sure of it x x

good luck with slimming world i think its a great way to change your eating habits! Do ye all find night time eating hard?
 
Massive welldone on what you have already achieved you have some strong determination to loose amounts like that on vlcd.
Sw is great I'm never hungry, I've barely had the same meal twice yet, you will do great :)

Thanks I didn't do vlcd I was on around 1300 a day but as I say I'm just stuck... Off to class at 830 & very excited - how ridiculously mad is that
 
I get excited for weigh in day I do it from home but I'm always up mega early to wi. So your not only one.
1300 is low calorie it's a hard thing to sustain you have done amazing

:welcome:your weight loss has been phenomenal - well done!! What a fantastic achievement. If you can lose that, then 1.4 stone on SW will be a walk in the park if you ask me. I started last week - never stopped eating and lost 6lbs. As your consultant says, you have to trust in this plan, it really does work!
